DENVER (December 29, 2016) – A slew of new programming is in sight for World Fishing Network viewers during the week of January 2–8. Timmy Horton finds a gold mine for bass fishing on Timmy Horton Outdoors; Scott Martin challenges some of the best fishermen and women in the world on The Scott Martin Challenge; James and Troy Lindner are chasing Canadian Walleyes on Lindner’s Angling Edge and Kim Stricker is joined by a pro to flush out largemouth open-water sweet spots on Hook n’ Look.

The all new Bass Mondays starts the week with Timmy Horton finding a lake in middle eastern Minnesota full of shallow docks holding hungry largemouth on Timmy Horton Outdoors. Then, on The Scott Martin Challenge, Scott is on the water with a new and exciting “reality-style” challenge against some of the nation’s top professional anglers, as well as unique challenges with family and friends.

Secrets of the Pros is Wednesday night, and kicking it off is James and Troy Lindner on Lindner’s Angling Edge, chasing plus-sized Canadian Walleyes in Northwest Ontario’s Rushing River Watershed. Next up on Hook n’ Look, Kentucky Lake expert, Sam Lashlee accompanies Kim Stricker to share his skillful aptitude for locating open-water sweet spots for big largemouths.

DENVER (December 29, 2016) – Sportsman Channel viewers have a lot to look forward to during the week of January 2–8 with new and returning shows that will leave them wanting more. Steven Rinella takes to British Columbia in search of a grizzly bear to bring home on MeatEater; The Jackie Bushman Show Classics, hosted by Matt and Ryan Busbice, picks a lucky winner of the Buckmasters sweepstakes; Guns & Ammo TV covers all aspects of hunting and Greg Lapin and Destin Mounts test their skills with high-tech training drills against robots on GunVenture.

Monday Night Hunts begins with an all new MeatEater. In this episode, Ryan Callaghan and Aaron Evans join Rinella on an epic adventure in British Columbia’s Rockies to pursue grizzly bears with specific means of take, guided by personal ethics. The hunt is dampened by weather, but Steven finds a way to fix a tasty meal. Then, on The Jackie Bushman Show Classics, Matt and Ryan Busbice of Wildgame Innovations host another lucky Buckmasters sweepstakes winner in their home state of Louisiana.

Next up is Guns & Ammo TV on Lock and Load Thursday. This show will cover all aspects of tactical and sporting firearms, ammo, optics, accessories and training techniques better than any others. Finally, on GunVenture, VATA Group’s Greg Lapin and Destin Mounts head to Tennessee for some high-tech training drills against robots, testing their skills with stress-test exercises. To take a break, they go for a spin around a defensive driving track.

Celebrating 40 Years of Business on “Duck Dynasty”; Exploring the West on  “Big Country Fridays” and the Next Round of Competition on “Major League Fishing”

 DENVER (December 29, 2016) Outdoor Channel rings in the new year with exciting adventures for viewers during the week of January 2–8. Willie and the Robertson crew celebrate the 40th anniversary of Duck Commander on Duck Dynasty; Ivan Carter investigates the cause of a string of murdered lions on Carter’s W.A.R.; classic western film, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, ends Big Country Fridays and Major League Fishing closes out the week with a fierce competition in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Three episodes of Duck Dynasty begin this week on Outdoor Channel. First, for Willie’s birthday, Jase organizes a family trip to Lake D’Arbonne, Louisiana, a favorite hangout of the brothers in their youth. Then, it’s the 40-year anniversary of Duck Commander, and this celebration is a Louisiana bayou-style shindig. Finally, the Duck Commander team is invited to unveil a wing of the local Bass Pro shop that will feature their products.

Big Country Fridays opens with Carter’s W.A.R. investigating a string of murdered lions. And Ivan gets to the very heart of an ancient conflict between humans and lions. The outcome will test Ivan’s own core values about cultural perspective and conservation. Next up is The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly on Friday Night at the Movies. A bounty hunting scam joins two men in an uneasy alliance against a third party in a race to find a fortune of gold buried in a remote cemetery.

Saturday, on Major League Fishing, six anglers compete in Osage Beach, Missouri and only one will advance into the 2017 Summit Cup.

MeatEater kicks off the new Monday Night Hunts with Steven Rinella heading to Kentucky to hunt with small game mastermind Kevin Murphy and his army of hunting dogs. Then, on The Jackie Bushman Show Classics, Joel Maxfield of Mathews Inc. joins Jackie to hunt whitetail, turkey and elk in Montana.

Next up is Lock and Load Thursday. Two episodes of Duck Dynasty begin this week on Outdoor Channel. First, after all their hard work, Willie decides to take the entire Robertson clan on a family vacation to Hawaii. Then, Korie, Missy, and Jessica plan a ceremony on the Robertson land for Phil and Miss Kay to renew their vows on their wedding anniversary.

Big Country Fridays opens with Carter’s W.A.R., the untold story of one man’s quest to save his homeland of Africa, the world’s most wild and dangerous continent on earth. Next up is Hombre on Friday Night at the Movies. John Russell, disdained by his fellow stagecoach passengers because he was raised by Indians, becomes their only hope for survival when they encounter outlaws.

Saturday, Major League Fishing presents the sport of competitive professional bass fishing at its highest level in a new and compelling format. This tournament series is more exciting, more dramatic and highlights the fierce competition found in professional bass fishing starting with the Summit Select qualifying round one.

Famous Florida Bass on “Fishing University”; Peacock Bass Fishing on “Kayak Bassin’ TV”  and International Fishing Destinations on “Fishin’ Hot Spots”

DENVER (December 15, 2016) World Fishing Network viewers are in store for a treat as the fishermen take them all over the world to the best spots to catch big bites during the week of December 19–25. The Charger Boat owners tag along with Charlie and Ray on Lake Toho on Fishing University; Chad and ‘Monster Mike’ search for peacock bass on Kayak Bassin’ TV and Henry shows off the greatest fishing destinations in the world on Fishin’ Hot Spots.

First up is Fishing University. In this episode, Charlie Ingram and Ray Brazier are joined by Charger Boat Owners, Jim Dorris, president, and Joe Dorris, vice president, as they maneuver their Charger Boat on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, Florida, to find those famous Florida bass.

Next, on Kayak Bassin’ TV, Chad Hoover hooks up with ‘Monster Mike’ from Mike’s Fishing Adventures in Miami, Florida, for some hot peacock bass fishing action. Ending the week on Fishin’ Hot Spots, Henry Waszczuk highlights the Top 10 International Fishing Destinations in the World.

Remi Warren learns how to hunt like a golden eagle on Apex Predator; Steven Rinella goes on the most dangerous excursion of his life on MeatEater; Tom McMillan prepares for the November rut on MCMILLAN and the ghosts of Brian Quaca’s past visit Pigman: The Series.

Apex Predator kicks off the night on Thursday Trailblazers. Using the power of modern optics, Remi Warren attempts to spot and hunt Coues deer in Mexico like one of the world’s greatest winged predators: the golden eagle. Next, on MeatEater, Steve Rinella and his buddy, Ryan Callaghan, float on a remote river during a moose hunt that becomes the most dangerous moment in Steve’s life as a hunter.

Sunday, on MCMILLAN, the November rut is right around the corner, but Tom spends a few days getting all of the girls and women in camp tagged out first. Finally, on Pigman: The Series, Pigman revisits some of his greatest moments from past seasons.

Playing Santa Claus on “Duck Dynasty”; Predator Becomes Prey on “Viking Chronicles” and All Things Southern on “Big Country Fridays”

DENVER (December 15, 2016) – Viewers will be able to celebrate the holidays alongside the sportsmen and women of Outdoor Channel during the week of December 19–25. Willie’s beard turns white this Christmas when he is asked to be Santa at the local church on Duck Dynasty; Kyle Lamb is taking on coyote in a very innovative way on Viking Chronicles; Craig Morgan is making a few stops on his tour for some hunting excursions; Nick learns a lot about the south while on a hunting trip in Tennessee and classic western film, The Missouri Breaks, ends the Big Country Friday night.

Starting the holiday week, Outdoor Channel gifts viewers with two Christmas-themed episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, it’s Willie’s turn to play Santa Claus at the local church this year but Uncle Si crashes the party and the event goes south in a hurry. Then, the Duck Commander staff are called to perform a nativity play at their church, but rehearsals go far from smoothly. Wednesday, on Viking Chronicles, predator becomes prey under the cover of nightfall as Kyle Lamb and crew enlist cutting edge technology to take down coyotes in Southwest Wyoming.

Big Country Fridays opens with Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors. In this episode, while finishing up a tour on the road, Craig stops in for a couple late season hunts in Ohio and Florida. Then on Nick’s Wild Ride, Nick learns southern tradition in Tennessee’s “Land Between the Lakes” by hunting with hounds in the backwoods, getting lost and found, eating local food and learning to make moonshine. Friday Night at the Movies closes the night with The Missouri Breaks, directed by Arthur Penn. Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson ignite the screen in this rousing story of a wealthy Montana rancher who hires a professional killer to track down a gang of horse thieves.
