World Fishing Network Weekly Programming Highlights

Fishing on Lake Keowee on “Fishing University”; the Conclusion of the Yak Attack Tournament on “Kayak Bassin’ TV” and Gulf of Mexico Fishing on “Fishin’ Hot Spots”

DENVER (December 8, 2016) World Fishing Network viewers join the pros in South Carolina, Virginia, and the Gulf of Mexico to catch some big bites during the week of December 12–18. Charlie and Ray are joined by Bassmaster Classic champions on Fishing University; we find out whether or not Chad Hoover is the winner of the annual Yak Attack Kayak Fishing Tournament on Kayak Bassin’ TV and Henry teaches us what works best in the Gulf of Mexico on Fishin’ Hot Spots.

First, on Fishing University, Lake Keowee in Western South Carolina is the setting for this episode featuring Honda Marine. Joining Charlie Ingram and Ray Brazier in Muddy Bay Marine in South Carolina are B.A.S.S. pro and Bassmaster Classic Champions, Paul Elias and Andrew Benton.

Next up on Kayak Bassin’ TV, Chad Hoover continues his hunt for big bass in Farmville, VA where the winner of the Annual YakAttack Kayak Fishing Tournament will be decided. Ending the week on Fishin’ Hot Spots, Henry Waszczuk fishes for snapper, amberjacks, and goliath rouper in the offshore water of the Gulf of Mexico.

Remi Warren learns how to stalk his prey like an alligator on Apex Predator; Steven Rinella is back on the hunt for grizzlies on MeatEater; Tom McMillan is joined by pros for an October deer hunt and Brian Quaca comes to the conclusion of Shankfest on Pigman: The Series.

Thursday Trailblazers kickstarts with Remi Warren of Apex Predator discovering the power of patience as he learns how to lie and wait – like an alligator – for his prey in the swamps of Central Florida. Next, on MeatEater, Steve Rinella is back in British Columbia with his buddy Ryan Callaghan, and this time they are determined to catch a grizzly bear.

Sunday, on MCMILLAN, Realtree’s Bill Harris and Clear Track Consulting’s Pete Crawford are in camp at McMillan Outfitting for a late October deer hunt. Finally, on Pigman: The Series, it is the second part of Shankfest, and the friendly fan competition winner will be declared.

Wilderness Skills Competition on “Duck Dynasty”; Southern Living on  “The Reluctant Outdoorsman”; Starstruck in Nashville on “Viking Chronicles” and Gone Country on “Big Country Fridays”

DENVER (December 8, 2016) – During the week of December 12–18, Outdoor Channel viewers will be able to dive into some of the most exciting hunting adventures in the world with their favorite outdoorsmen. The Duckmen take an adventure through the woods to find out who has the most wilderness skills on Duck Dynasty; The Reluctant Outdoorsman learns about hunting in the South from Michael Waddell; Kyle Lamb is in Nashville with a country music legend on Viking Chronicles; Jim Shockey takes his family to France for a once-in-a-lifetime hunting and vacation experience; Craig Morgan is golfing for charity and classic western film, Rio Grande, ends the Big Country Friday night.

Starting the week on Outdoor Channel are four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, Phil Robertson and the guys set out to clean all the duck blinds, turning up an assortment of odd wildlife and old garbage along the way. Next, egged on by Si to prove their wilderness skills, the brothers hold a race through the woods. Then, Phil recruits Jase, Jep, Si, and John Luke for his campaign to wipe out the latest beaver infestation on the family land. Finally, after a big order comes in, Willie pushes the Duck Commander team to meet the tight deadline. Then, on The Reluctant Outdoorsman, Derek Orr learns the nuances of southern living from famed hunter, Michael Waddell, of Michael Waddell’s Bone Collector. Wednesday, on Viking Chronicles, Kyle Lamb shows he knows how to hold his own in Music City with country rocker and Nashville staple, Ira Dean.

Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures opens Big Country Fridays with Jim traveling to France with his wife, Louise and daughter, Eva. While in a country steep in hunting traditions, Jim goes after the European Red Stag and a huge wild boar. Next, on Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, Craig works the rust off his golf swing as he helps raise money for his local charity. Friday Night at the Movies closes the night with Rio Grande, a story of a post-Civil War Union officer, Kirby Yorke, as he heads an outpost on the Rio Grande, training new recruits, and one is his son whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years.

World Fishing Network Weekly Programming Highlights

DENVER (December 1, 2016) World Fishing Network viewers will learn about some of the sweetest honey holes to fish around the world during the week of December 5–11. Charlie and Ray go fishing with the Bethel University Fishing Team on Fishing University; Chad Hoover participates in the annual Yak Attack Kayak Fishing Tournament on Kayak Bassin’ TV; and Henry fishes in North Carolina on
Fishin’ Hot Spots.

First, on Fishing University, Charlie Ingram and Ray Brazier are joined by Bethel University Fishing Team members, Cully Scroggins and Ty Dyer. They are trying their luck with some new lures from their SPRO arsenal on the Arkansas River at Pine Bluff.

Next up on Kayak Bassin’ TV, Chad Hoover heads to Farmville, Virginia to hunt big bass and takes part in the Annual Yak Attack Kayak Fishing Tournament. Ending the week on Fishin’ Hot Spots, Henry Waszczuk fishes for backwater redfish in the New River of North Carolina.

Remi Warren is disguised as a coyote stalking buffalo on Apex Predator; Steven Rinella searches for grizzly bears on MeatEater; Tom McMillan starts the Rut Hunt with fellow Sportsman Channel hosts; and Pigman hosts a competition with some lucky fans.

Apex Predator kicks off Thursday Trailblazers with Remi Warren stalking buffalo in Sonora, Mexico disguised as a coyote – with inspiration coming from the famous George Catlin painting. Next, on MeatEater, Steve and his buddy Ryan Callaghan, hike into the steep backcountry of northern British Columbia in search of grizzlies.

Sunday, on MCMILLAN, Tom kicks off this year’s Rut Hunts with two good friends – Graig Hale and Craig Boboula. Finally, on Pigman, it’s Shankfest time, and a few lucky fans get the opportunity to hunt hogs with Pigman and take part in a friendly competition.

 DENVER (December 1, 2016) Outdoor Channel viewers will find plenty of adventure, thrills and some laughs every day of the week throughout December 5–11. The Duckmen must scramble to prepare for the visit of Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal, on Duck Dynasty; The Reluctant Outdoorsman joins Laramy “Sasquatch” Miller on a pioneering adventure; Kyle Lamb tries hunting with a cross bow on Viking Chronicles; Jim Shockey hunts for indigenous Pakistani game; Craig Morgan is all over the country in search of spring longbeards and classic western film, Vera Cruz, closes out the week.

Three episodes of Duck Dynasty start the week on Outdoor Channel. First, baby Mia is about to enter the hospital for surgery on her cleft lip and palate, and Jase sets up a family reunion party at her request. Next, an impending visit by Bobby Jindal, Governor of Louisiana, to present an award to Duck Commander throws everyone into chaos. Finally, when Willie starts thinking about changing the Duck Commander logo, Jase and the guys try to show him they can do the job as well as any professional design firm. Then, on The Reluctant Outdoorsman, Derek Orr heads to Montana for a pioneering adventure guided by Laramy ‘Sasquatch” Miller of Sasquatch Mountain Man. Wednesday, on Viking Chronicles, after a tactical training course at Sig Academy, Kyle Lamb puts down his rifle for something new. Kyle takes to the hills of Tennessee with his cross bow for whitetail season.

Big Country Fridays open with Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures. In this episode, follow alongside Jim Shockey as he heads into the culturally-rich country of Pakistan to go after the Punjab Urial, a type of wild sheep, and the Axis Deer. Next, on Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, from the orange groves in Florida, to pines in South Carolina, and into the cattle pastures of Tennessee, Craig is crazy about chasing spring longbeard gobblers. Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with Vera Cruz. During the Mexican Rebellion of 1866, an unsavory group of American adventurers are hired by the forces of Emperor Maximilian to escort a countess to Vera Cruz.
