Louisiana Celebration on “Duck Dynasty”; Miniguns to the Test on “Hollywood Weapons”; Exploring Core Values on “Carter’s W.A.R.” and Deliverance on “Friday Night at the Movies”

DENVER (April 27, 2017) – The week of May 1–7 will captivate Outdoor Channel viewers as the Duckmen celebrate an anniversary in style on Duck Dynasty; the hosts of Hollywood Weapons conduct one of the largest tests yet; Ivan Carter explores his values on Carter’s W.A.R. and the film, Deliverance, closes out the week.

The Duckmen of Duck Dynasty kick-start the week on Outdoor Channel with four entertaining episodes. First, it’s duck blind maintenance time again and the boys discover the waterline is low from the work of Phil’s bucktoothed archenemy, the beaver. Then, brotherly competition gets the best of Willie when he ditches his kids’ career day to go play golf with Jase. Next, it’s the 40-year anniversary of Duck Commander and the celebration is a Robertson down-home, country-style, shindig. Finally, Jase concludes that Willie is having a mid-life crisis after he notices Willie’s suspicious behavior from dying his beard to buying a new motorcycle.

Two exhilarating episodes of Hollywood Weapons bring Monday night to a close. First, the hosts conduct one of the largest tests yet by building a jungle to see if it’s possible to chop it down with a minigun. Actor Bill Duke, whose character performed this weapon stunt in the film Predator, joins. Then, John Rambo’s (Sylvester Stallone) ability to decimate enemies all by himself has created some of the most incredible weapon stunts in Hollywood history. The hosts of Hollywood Weapons test the reality surrounding these iconic scenes from the blockbuster franchise, Rambo.

Friday night on Carter’s W.A.R., Ivan’s core values about cultural perspective and conservation are tested as he gets to the heart of an ancient conflict between humans and lions by investigating a string of murdered lions.  Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with the thriller – Deliverance. When friends take a river-rafting trip in the backwoods of Georgia, the dangerous territory will test them psychologically and physically.
