DENVER (September 28, 2017) – Sportsman Channel delivered strong ratings increases in the key demographic – Men 18-49 – during the month of August. The outdoor lifestyle network – one of three in the Outdoor Sportsman Group troika (Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network) – reported ratings gains in the following metered parts:
- Total Day – up +26 percent vs. August 2016
- Day – up +100 percent vs. August 2016
- Fringe – up +31 percent vs. August 2016
- Weekend – up +21 percent vs. August 2016
- Overnight – up +24 percent vs. August 2016
“We have incorporated distinct and definitive programming strategies for all of our networks and Sportsman Channel’s ratings success is evidence that outdoor lifestyle viewers continue to flock to our networks and enjoy what we are offering,” President and CEO of Outdoor Sportsman Group, Jim Liberatore said.
Also, Outdoor HD launched on September 28 on DIRECTV Channel 606.
