The Brigade: Race to the Hudson presented by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s follows a group of 10 strangers as they traverse four Canadian provinces, two mountain ranges and five river systems with the goal of kayaking, hiking and portaging 750 miles along the legendary York Factory Express trade route to try and reach the icy shores of Hudson Bay, Manitoba in 28 days or less. The group must find ways to navigate fierce white water, go over mountains and avoid starvation with no GPS and limited resources. The only way out is to finish or self-eliminate, and total cooperation is imperative for the group to succeed. They have 28 days to reach their destination and share in the $500,000 prize…if they make it.
