Nature of Work:

The Ad Sales Account Coordinator is an entry level position that will report directly to the Vice President of Ad Sales Pricing and Planning. Under general supervision, the Ad Sales Account Coordinator works closely with corporate and/or regional advertising sales operations staff and support the linear television and digital sales processes by providing outstanding customer service and account stewardship. Critical functions include the successful maintenance of sales schedules, reporting campaign performance, reconciling monthly billing, and collaboration with others to ensure client KPIs and revenue goals are met.

Examples of Work Performed:

  • Collaborate with account executives, planning teams, and marketing team on order confirmation and campaign activation to ensure all platforms deliver according to order specifications
  • Act as project manager for larger sales initiatives, track sales and steward sold sponsor elements
  • Maintain sales system data and information, including quality control checks
  • Aggregate pacing and fulfillment reports on a regular basis and analyze delivery metrics
  • Update and distribute regular internal reporting on revenue pacing, audience trends, and campaign performance
  • Process optimizations and in-flight order changes based on Account Management guidance and Agency approval to ensure full campaign delivery
  • Maintain internal revenue and inventory sales documents and pipeline summaries
  • Input and transmit new orders or schedule changes in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Compile and distribute internal and external pre and post reporting based on AE and platform needs
  • Facilitate communication amongst stakeholders regarding order details, including sponsorship elements
  • Act as liaison between operations team and the AM/Sales teams to troubleshoot issues independently, such as creative errors and data discrepancies
  • Compile month-end and completed campaign delivery reports for AM/Sales team to communicate to clients and agencies for feedback
  • Reconcile billing line items and confirm accuracy prior to invoicing
  • Partner with and support other Sales Planners, Coordinators, Pricing and Planning management and Traffic department team members as needed
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned

  • Minimum
    1. BS/BA degree required.
    2. Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel and Power Point skills
  • Preferred
    1. Preference given to candidates with experience in cable TV industry sales, marketing and/or administration environments

  • Base Salary Range $50,000 per annum
