Nature of Work:

Major League Fishing is seeking a motivated individual to provide administrative support to Senior Director of General & Administration including general office, database, accounting related duties.

MLF is a fast-paced and exciting company. The ideal candidate is full of energy, upbeat and always has a positive attitude. This is a full-time position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Examples of work performed:

  • Support Senior Director with assigned projects
  • Work closely with sales, accounting, production, event operations and other department staff
  • Update and maintain Salesforce database
  • Generation of contracts from draft preparation to final execution
  • Maintain documentation of contract details, including approvals, payment terms, renewals, and
  • related correspondence
  • Monitor status of agreements/contracts
  • Respond to daily internal and external requests for contract-related and accounting material
  • Provide post-sale support to management and sales staff
  • Participate in department meetings to discuss, resolve and improve processes and procedures
  • within department
  • Provide contract documentation and copies as needed for audits, due diligence, etc.
  • Assist on special projects as needed
  • Project a professional company image through correspondence by email and phone interaction

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    • High School or GED
    • 1+ years’ experience in administrative work

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Have an optimistic, enthusiastic, flexible and helpful can-do attitude
  • Be able to manage several ongoing projects simultaneously
  • Take the initiative in creating processes and plans where none exist
  • Be willing to research, learn, and problem-solve
  • Believe there is no such thing as a task too small
  • Be detail-oriented and organized
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with data entry and/or database administration
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment both in-person and remotely
  • Confidence with technology including the ability to learn new software/hardware and troubleshoot issues
