The role of the Marketing Manager is to oversee the creation, development and implementation of multi-pronged, multi-platform marketing campaigns and initiatives. Primarily, this role is responsible for crucial communication with internal programming teams and maintaining external relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, adept at juggling multiple projects and excel at detail-oriented work. This person will ideally possess a marketing background that includes both proven analytical experiences coupled with an understanding for creative execution.


  • Works closely with team to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns to ensure network strategy and media plans are being flawlessly executed while adhering to overall project and business goals
    • Assists in planning and developing strategies and objectives to reach target audiences utilizing multiple marketing platforms
    • Develops consistent messaging and branding elements that supports objectives and drive seamless creative execution
    • Oversees the execution of approved media plans and works with Marketing Solutions team to maintain production of deliverables, timelines and post-analysis
    • Updates and manages marketing documents with key messaging, and branding elements to distribute to key stakeholders
    • Coordinates the production of strategic marketing briefs as needed and facilitates communication of marketing objectives for campaigns
  • Maintains key network partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Works with programming team to identify key marketing opportunities, develop new opportunities, and communicate accordingly
    • Works with third-party and original producers to coordinate acquisition, implementation and distribution of show-specific materials to relevant teams and stakeholders (internal and external)
    • Work with external vendors for necessary promotional deliverables
  • Manages marketing contracts as it relates to producer commitments, contractual obligations, partnerships, etc.
    • Maintains timeline of contracts and initiates production needed with appropriate teams to execute contractual obligations
  • Promo planning and placement of on-air promotional assets, including secondary events, to meet network ratings and demo goals and fulfill sponsorship commitments
    • Proficiency in and working knowledge of scheduling systems and processes (GRiPit, Wide Orbit, Shotgun, Excel, SharePoint)
    • Coordinate with traffic department on daily log delivery and adjustments as needed
    • Prepare quarterly grids and assign production deadlines
    • Provide post-run analytics reports to show fulfillment of planned reach and frequency


  • 3- 5 years’ experience
    • Marketing Strategy and/or Media Planning preferred
    • Experience in TV marketing
    • Must have strong oral and written skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Business / Communications or similar; or equivalent work experience
