Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network Weekly Programming Highlights 6/8/17

DENVER (June 8, 2017)
– Adventure rushes through the week of June 12–18, as iconic movie scenes are put to the test on Outdoor Channel’s Hollywood Weapons; an action-packed, night hunting trip takes place on Sportsman Channel’s Predator Pursuit and the Sunshine State heats up on World Fishing Network.

The Robertson family starts Monday night strong on Outdoor Channel with four back-to-back episodes of Duck Dynasty. It begins with Sadie’s math homework and ends with her “Dancing with the Stars” partner, Mark Ballas, making a trip to West Monroe for rehearsal. Then, it’s back-to-back episodes of Hollywood Weapons as scenes from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly are recreated. In this classic western, Clint Eastwood (aka “Blondie”) saves Eli Wallach from the hangman’s noose three separate times by shooting and severing the rope that he hangs from. Next, using the same Beretta 92 handgun as in Die Hard, host Terry Schappert re-enacts the iconic scene where John McClane (Bruce Willis) finds himself dangling from the side of a building and must shoot through the glass window and break away to safety. Then, on Carter’s W.A.R. a dramatic rescue is planned when Ivan stumbles upon three captive baby chimpanzees being sold on the blackmarket in Kinshasa. The 1990 action film, Quigley Down Under, wraps up the week on Friday Night at the Movies, as sharpshooter Matt Quigley (Tom Selleck) is hired from Wyoming by an Austrailian rancher paying a very high price.
