Quadruple the Fun airing of “Duck Dynasty” while a Thunderstorm Threatens a Seaside Dinner in “Alaska’s Wild Gourmet”

New Episodes Air April 4-10 and a Classic Western Airs on April 8

DENVER (April 1, 2016) – There are four “ducks” in a row on Outdoor Channel’s Monday night programming with four consecutive episodes of the fan-favorite show, Duck Dynasty. Then, Alaska’s Wild Gourmet, the original series following the Ewings around Alaska in their mobile kitchen, craft a five-star meal for surfers on a beach when Mother Nature unwelcomingly tries to join the dinner party. Then, “Friday Night at the Movies” airs the 1972 film, Duck, You Sucker (aka, A Fistful of Dynamite), a tale of two men drawn into the Mexican Revolution, on Friday, April 8 at 9 p.m. ET.

Highlights for April 4–10:

Duck Dynasty (Mondays at 7 p.m. ET/PT): Duck Dynasty is quadrupling their airtime on Outdoor Channel with four uninterrupted episodes airing every Monday night. In the evening’s first episode, Willie attends a local radio show as a guest and becomes inspired to host a show of his own. Next, Willie receives a “priceless” samurai sword that he tries to keep out of the hands of Jase and the guys. Then, a food contest ensues between Jase, Si and Jep when they take a field trip to a donut shop to see who amongst them can eat the most delicious treats. Finally, Willie pushes the guys too far by implementing new motivational work tactics causing the crew to go on strike. Plus, don’t miss all new episodes of Duck Dynasty Wednesdays on A&E. Duck, You Sucker (aka, A Fistful of Dynamite) – Friday Night Film – (Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT): During the Mexican Revolution, Juan, the leader of a bandit family, meets an I.R.A. explosives expert, John Mallory, who’s on the run from the British. Juan tries to use John in a raid on the great banks of Mesa Verde after witnessing his impressive skill with explosives. Little does Juan know, John has already made contact with the revolutionaries and intends to use his dynamite to aid them.

Alaska’s Wild Gourmet (Saturdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT): The Ewing family, locals of the Alaskan bush country, create and cater five-star meals from protein and ingredients they forage themselves – making the meals 100% Alaskan. The team consists of Head Chef Bradley Ewing, his sister and team-designer, Amy Ewing and the owner of it all, their mother, Sherri Ewing. In this episode, the family is hired by surfers to cater dinner on a secluded beach in Kodiak, Alaska. A storm rolling in means high swells and big waves – every surfers dream – but the forceful winds and rain heading toward the beach during dinner could put a damper on the Ewing’s plan of a delightful dining experience.
