Tim Montana, Travis Denning, Drake White and LOCASH Join Outdoor Channel’s Third Installment of Live Performance Series “Country Outdoors LIVE”

DENVER (April 26, 2021) Live performance series Country Outdoors LIVE returns to Outdoor Channel on Monday, May 3 (8 p.m. ET) and brings viewers exclusive, intimate performances with some of country music’s top rising talent. What started as a way for established and rising country music artists to connect with audiences during the Covid-19 pandemic turned into a popular platform and new programming for Outdoor Channel.

Outdoor Channel, UMG Nashville and BBR Music Group have partnered on the third installment of the network’s popular series with new episodes featuring country rock singer-songwriter Tim Montana leading off on May 3; followed by an exceptional guitarist who’s “wickedly good fun,” Travis Denning hitting second on May 10; soulful singer/songwriter Drake White is in the third spot on May 17 and award-winning duo known for fusing modern country and classic heartland rock, LOCASH “bats” cleanup on May 24.

Hosts Nick Hoffman, host of Outdoor Channel’s Nick’s Wild Ride, and Mary O’Neill Phillips, host of the Outdoor Sportsman Group podcast Country Outdoors, will introduce the live acts, as well as help viewers learn details behind-the-music during each 30-minute show. OSG also will offer Facebook Live interviews following each episode.

“In the last year, Country Outdoors LIVE has proved to be a viable and interesting way for country music artists to introduce new music and reconnect with their fans during their time off the road,” Winnercomm President and General Manager Tim Cremin said. “We welcome BBR Music Group to the family and look forward to continued support and enthusiasm within the country music community.”

Universal Music Group Nashville, BBR Music Group and Outdoor Channel’s Country Outdoors LIVE television specials will feature the following artists:

May 3 (8 p.m. ET) – Tim Montana

Chiefly considered a Country rocker, Tim Montana is a true Renaissance man, moonlighting as a TV personality, marksman, father, husband, foodie, hot sauce connoisseur, hell-raiser and businessman. His sound, befitting of the off-the-grid, thrill-seeker who grew up without electricity (in where else but Montana), draws influence from the rural lifestyle with a hint of adrenaline. His music has been selected as the theme song for World Series Championship runs, PBR, NHL games, NASCAR telecasts and action movies. His music also has earned him spots opening for Kid Rock and performing alongside the Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl.

Now signed to BBR Music Group, Tim released his new album Long Shots on April 9. The 12-song collection blends Country with rock electric guitar and influences from the West and embraces hard and fast living, the American experience and the blue-collar way. It is an ode to the underdog and screams “hard work pays off.” In addition to starring in his own show, “Tim Montana's Wild Side” on Velocity Outdoor Channel and performing in several acts including the Whisker Brothers alongside ZZ Top’s legendary Billy Gibbons, Tim also has found a great deal of success as a businessman. The Montana native has longstanding partnerships with Ravin, CenterPoint, Crosman, Benjamin, Polaris, Black Rifle Coffee, Fender, Gerber, Indian Motorcycles, K&N, Kicker Performance Audio, Orange Amplifiers, Snap On, Traeger Grills and more. May 10 (8 p.m. ET) – Travis Denning

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, singer/songwriter and Mercury Nashville recording artist Travis Denning just released his “clever kiss-off” (Billboard) and “wickedly fun good-riddance anthem” (PEOPLE) “ABBY.” Already amassing over 17 million streams and the track reaching the No. One spot on Sirius XM’s Highway Hot 30, the track earned the most adds at country radio upon add date. Denning celebrated his first No. One and GOLD-certified single

in 2020 with the “shadowy” (Rolling Stone) “After A Few.” Accelerating his ascend from a chart-topping single, the song is taken from his debut EP BEER’S BETTER COLD that debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard's Country Albums chart. Denning first made waves with the release of his Top 40 debut single “David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs." Denning has toured as direct support for Dustin Lynch and has previously opened shows for Cole Swindell, Alan Jackson, LANCO, Riley Green and his first headlining “Heartbeat Of A Small Town Tour.” With over 398 million streams worldwide, Denning has been spotlighted for his head-turning sound and was previously selected as one of CRS New Faces, an Opry NextStage recipient and a CMA KixStart Artist, as he makes his mark within the industry. Inspired at a young age, Denning developed a love for country, pop, rock and heavy metal and started playing local bars from the age of 16, as he built a strong following from his distinctive songs and raucous guitar solos. A prolific writer with an unquestionable stage presence, Denning moved to Nashville and secured outside cuts by Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Michael Ray and more. Denning’s newest songwriting cut includes Michael Ray’s Top 20 single “Her World Or Mine.”

May 17 (8 p.m. ET) – Drake White

Seeing Drake White live is far from an ordinary concert experience. Equal parts warrior leader, holy-fire reverend, and gypsy Appalachian mountain man, he fronts his band with a mix of Muscle Shoals groove and honky-tonk grease. The goal? To continue building an inspired community with his voice, country-soul spirit, and relentless optimism, fusing everything he does — from the shows he plays with The Big Fire (his blue-collar band of road warriors), to the events he hosts at Whitewood Hollow, the rustic event space he hand-designed with his wife, Alex, in rural Tennessee — with the big-tent spirit of a revival. From his childhood days singing with the First Baptist Church youth choir in Alabama to his emergence as one of country music's most acclaimed innovators, with four Top 40 hits, multiple nationwide tours, and a dedicated cult following all under his belt, Drake has happily blurred the boundaries between music and every other moment of his life.

May 24 (8 p.m. ET) – LOCASH

Creating a sound that fuses modern Country and classic heartland rock with an edgy vocal blend, Wheelhouse Records’ LOCASH is the Country music duo made up of singer-songwriters Chris Lucas and Preston Brust – natives of Baltimore, Maryland, and Kokomo, Indiana, respectively. With two albums and eight charting singles to their credit, LOCASH broke out in 2015 with their gracious GOLD-certified hit, “I Love This Life," followed by the flirtatious GOLD-certified No. 1 smash, “I Know Somebody” – their first trip to the top of the Country radio airplay charts – and 2017’s fun-loving romantic anthem “Ring on Every Finger.” All three singles were part of their album, THE FIGHTERS, which was released in the summer of 2016 to Top 15 success. In 2017, they earned their first round of award show recognition, nominated at the ACM Awards for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year, the CMT Music Awards for Duo Video of the Year (“I Know Somebody”) and the CMA Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year. The 2019 ACM Duo of the Year nominee released their latest album (and first with their new label BBR Music Group/BMG), Brothers on March 29, 2019. The follow up to their No. 1 single "One Big Country Song," “Beers to Catch Up On” is out on Country radio now.
