Outdoor Sportsman Group Magazine Websites Post Highest Average Monthly Pageviews Since 2017

North American Whitetail, Petersen’s Hunting, Petersen’s Bowhunting, Bowhunter, Wildfowl and GunDog Combine to Help Create 1.8 Million Pageviews in 4Q 2021

DENVER (January 18, 2020) – The fourth quarter of 2021 proved to be prosperous and healthy for Outdoor Sportsman Group Publishing’s hunting websites that showcase North American Whitetail, Petersen’s Hunting, Petersen’s Bowhunting, Bowhunter, Wildfowl and GunDog magazines. The six popular hunting websites combined for 1.8 million pageviews during Q4 2021, its best quarter in five years (Q4 2017).

Highlights from the 4Q 2021 include:

  • Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG) hunting websites posted the highest Average Monthly Pageviews (1.8 million) in a single quarter in 5 years (Q4 2017)
  • North American Whitetail (NAW) led the way posting its highest Average Monthly Pageviews (702,000) and Users (382,000) during a quarter in five years
    • In October 2021, NAW posted its highest monthly Pageviews (755,000) and Users (410,000) for the site since November 2017.
    • NAW then eclipsed its October numbers in November 2021 with its highest Pageviews (932,000) and Users (502,000) since November 2016.
  • Petersen’s Bowhunting, “The Modern Bowhunting Authority,” boasting the most archery gear coverage in the space, posted its highest Average Monthly Pageviews (339,000) and Users (221,000) for its site during a single quarter dating back to Q4 2015.
    • In October 2021, Petersen’s Bowhunting posted its highest monthly Pageviews (373,000) for its site since December 2015 and its highest Users (255,000) ever.*
  • Bowhunter, “The No. 1 Bowhunting Magazine” and journal of the sport, now in its 50th year, also posted its highest Average Monthly Pageviews (165,000) and Users (128,000) for its site during a single quarter since Q3 2018.
  • Wildfowl posted its highest Average Monthly Pageviews (132,000) in a single quarter in four years (Q4 2018).
    • December 2021 was the site’s best month in Pageviews (146,000) since October 2018 and the most Users (91,000) ever*
    • Additionally, Pageviews were up in December making it the seventh straight month of Pageview growth for the site.
  • GunDog posted its highest Average Monthly Pageviews (148,000) for the site during a single quarter dating back to Q4 2015 and the most monthly Users ever*
