DENVER (August 28, 2019) – Labor Day is meant to put the feet up, add extra wood chips to the smoker and tune in for a marathon of the finest driven boar hunts and good ‘ole Texas pig hunting during Outdoor Channel’s La’Boar’ Day Marathon presented by Aimpoint on Monday, September 2 beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

La’Boar’ Day features two of Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks’ most popular and highest-rated series: Wild Boar Fever X and Pigman: The Series.

La’Boar’ Day Marathon Presented by Aimpoint. All times ET.

Wild Boar Fever X – 7 p.m. “Bon Arrivee” – The Wild Boar Fever crew is in the Sologne region of France preparing for a driven hunt.  Newcomer Mitch Petrie tries his hand at driven game.

Wild Boar Fever X – 7:30 p.m. “Queen of the Hunt” – The hunt continues from the high stands of Sologne.  Desiree Lantz shows she can hold her own with the boys after a tremendous day in the woods.

Wild Boar Fever X 8 p.m. “The Monteria Begins” – One long extended drive covering the entire property has all the hunters on high alert.  Boar can come from any direction in these Monteria-style hunts.

Wild Boar Fever X – 8:30 p.m. “Franz’s Day of Days” – Franz Albrecht Oettingen Spielberg has hunted in many high stands over the years, so when he says this is one of his best days ever you know it's good.

Wild Boar Fever X – 9 p.m. “The Monteria Ends” – The Monteria drive comes to an end, with all of the hunters finding success.  Plus, a look at how the meat is processed and used across Europe.

Wild Boar Fever X – 9:30 p.m. “Rustico” – From the grand estates of Sologne, to a comfortable old farmhouse, the Wild Boar Fever crew is still in the thick of things with wild boar on the move.

Wild Boar Fever X – 10 p.m. “Les Bescasse 1” – The Wild Boar Fever crew returns to Les Bescasse, one of the grand estates in rural France where hunting is a way of life.

Wild Boar Fever X – 10:30 p.m. “Les Bescasse 2” – The hunt ends at Les Bescasse with a look back at another outstanding year in the high stands and a tease of what is still yet to come.

Pigman: The Series – 11 p.m. “The Pigs Grunt at Night” – Pigman serves up a nighttime thermal hunt for his new friends from Grunt Style. Besieged by hogs, Pigman and crew head under the cover of darkness to eliminate some jumbo porkers.

Pigman: The Series – 11:30 p.m. “The Kids are OK, Part 1” – Dap and Pig head up to Dusty's in Oklahoma to hunt with Dusty's kids. The only thing more dangerous then Dap with a crossbow is Dusty's 10-year old daughter.

Pigman: The Series – 12 a.m. “The Kids are OK, Part 2” – After being out-hunted/out-shot by the kids AND Dap, Pig looks to take out his frustration on the hogs of Oklahoma.

Pigman: The Series – 12:30 a.m. “No Miss in Mississippi” – Pigman heads to Mississippi with his Thermal Gear in tow, for a nighttime hog eradication mission.

The stories of Wild Boar Fever X presented by Aimpoint will, once again, be told through the lens of conservationist, popular host and charismatic marksman Franz Albrecht Oettingen-Spielberg. Driven hunts result in a substantial meat harvest of the destructive wild boar and conclude in a deeply-traditional ceremony. The harvested game is gathered together and laid out in a tableau, then honored by horn-blowing and speeches. These traditions date back hundreds of years and were first introduced to North American viewers last year.

Pigman: The Series is the story of Brian “Pigman” Quaca, a true-blue original and a character at the core, given to a rough and tough hunting lifestyle aimed at entertaining the masses with his different take on traditional hunting television. The endeavors and travels undertaken by Pigman send him all across the world with a determined sense to change the way people look at outdoor film.
