DENVER (March 4, 2016) – World Fishing Network offers an exciting roster of new episodes this week, starting with the return of the monthly series World Fishing Journal where viewers experience the lengths a few men go to break racial boundaries in professional bass fishing. Viewers will continue their journey down the Pacific Ocean in a luxurious fishing yacht on Inside Sportfishing, while witnessing how the competition handles the second day of sudden death in the Major League Fishing Summit Cup the week of March 6-13.

World Fishing Journal (Sundays at 11:30 a.m. ET): The love of fishing knows no boundaries. There has been a societal parameter around diversity in the professional bass fishing world. In this month’s episode, viewers meet the men who broke the barriers around African American’s in professional fishing, as well as the up-and-comers who continue to drive progression in the sport. Inside Sportfishing (Fridays at 9 p.m. ET): Viewers continue the excursion from last week down the Pacific Ocean side of the Baja Peninusla in the Polaris Supreme, a world-class fishing yacht stretching 90-feet in length with a 25-foot beam, owned by captain Tommy Rothery. The long-range trip picks up right where it left off, highlighting yellowfin, yellowtail and wahoo fish off the coast of Baja. Tune in next week to see the exciting conclusion to the trip aboard the Polaris Supreme.

Major League Fishing All-Angles presented by General Tire (Saturdays at 4 p.m. ET): It’s the second day of ‘sudden death’ in the competition where the anglers continue to battle each other in a race to catch 28 pounds of fish. Competitors, Todd Faircloth and Brent Chapman, find a stretch of water that encompasses so many fish it might just send both of them to the championship round. With the clock ticking and time running out, Jacob Wheeler finds himself stuck in a region of shallow water while Bobby Lane attempts a last minute come-back. The first three anglers to catch 28 pounds of fish will qualify for the championship round.
