Country Music’s First Podcast connecting fans to their
Favorite Artists and Outdoor Passions

NASHVILLE (September 6, 2019) Country Outdoors podcast announced today, availability of a first-ever podcast connecting country music fans with their favorite artists and the outdoor passions they all share. Hosted by country music aficionados and outdoor enthusiasts, Mary O’Neill Phillips and Mitch Petrie, the podcast will give listeners a unique opportunity to hear the untold stories of their favorite artists.

“It’s no secret the biggest stars in country music live an active outdoor lifestyle,” Petrie said. “Our podcast is a platform for artists to share their stories, influences and passion for the outdoors with like-minded fans.”

Each episode features insightful interviews with top artists who will share untold stories of outdoor experiences that have inspired their music and lives. Today’s release of podcast No. 1 featuring Tyler Farr will be followed with bi-monthly episodes of artist interviews featuring some of the biggest names in country music – Craig Campbell, Dylan Scott, Jordan Davis, Drake White Jon Langston, Craig Morgan, LOCASH and new artists joining the schedule each week.

“We are honored that so many artists have embraced our podcast and can’t wait to share their stories with a broader global audience,” O’Neill Phillips said. “Country Outdoors will allow listeners from all walks of life to hear stories that we hope will resonate and encourage others to listen as well.”

In addition to artist interviews, fans will hear special “Outdoor Moments” brought to them by influencers in-and-outside the country music world during a bi-weekly segment. The podcast creates a unique opportunity for advertisers to reach a more diverse audience as well.

“Our goal with the podcast is to bring fans of country music and the outdoors together, and to inspire listeners to get outside, educate themselves and participate in hunting, shooting and fishing,” continued Petrie. “Country music primarily reaches a female demographic while outdoor television is nearly 80 percent male; we anticipate helping advertisers cross that divide by providing content that will appeal to men and women.”

Sponsors of the podcast include: MyOutdoorTV.com, the global leader in streaming of outdoor-television programming and Twisted X, a creator of comfortable, hand-crafted footwear for men, women, children and infants.
