Blair Wickstrom is the Publisher of Florida Sportsman magazine. From learning how to hold a fish properly, for a magazine picture at age ten, to winning a $40,000 boat as a tournament captain 25 years later, there hasn’t been much that hasn’t crossed the bow of one of Blair’s many boats. Blair’s fished offshore, inshore, speared fish with a sling and harpooned alligators. Blair has worked for Florida Sportsman for 29 years, but has been connected by blood, to Florida Sportsman, since 1969. Florida Sportsman has grown beyond print, now producing two television shows, a leading website and Forum community, radio network, Expos and a growing number of fishing and boating related products and books.
Jeff Weakley is the editor of Florida Sportsman magazine in Stuart, Florida. He has been a staff editor at the magazine since 1995, when he began work there upon graduating with a B.A. degree in English from Stetson University in DeLand, FL. His articles and columns have won numerous awards from the Florida Outdoor Writers Association. He is the author of Sportsman’s Best: Kayak Fishing, published in 2012. From 2005 to 2011, Jeff co-hosted the Florida Sportsman and Shallow Water Angler television series. Volunteer work has included a number of terms as a chapter president with Coastal Conservation Association Florida and as community mentor with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Martin County. Jeff’s hobbies include fishing, surfing and hunting. He is married and has two daughters.
Jeff Simpson is the Digital Fishing Editorial Director for InterMedia Outdoors including In-Fisherman, Florida Sportsman, and Fly Fisherman. Having worked as an In-Fisherman editor and photographer for 17 years, he has written for all of In-Fisherman’s publications and is one of the most noteworthy field photographer’s in the fishing industry.
