DENVER (June 22, 2017) – From blowtorches and small explosive devices on Hollywood Weapons, to battling brown bears with Craig Morgan, Outdoor Channel viewers will be on the edge of their seats while Sportsman Channel viewers can expect nothing shy of exciting hunts for bull elk, stone sheep and moose during the week of June 26–July 2.
Duck Dynasty bursts into Monday night with four episodes on the Outdoor Channel when the guys celebrate Martin’s bachelor party at a hunting cabin and things turn explosive after they find a cache of antique black powder weapons. Meanwhile, Willie helps Kay fulfill her lifelong dream of owning a petting zoo, Duck Commander sponsors a NASCAR race, and Willie and Korie challenge John Luke and his fiance Mary Kate to a tennis match. Hollywood Weapons ends Monday night with double the excitement as the hosts recreate a scene from the movie Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, where Nick Wells (Robert De Niro) uses a blowtorch to cut through a safe, fill it with water, and blow the door off using a small explosive device. Then, Captain James T. Kirk’s battle with the Gorn alien is one of the most popular episodes from the Star Trek: Original Series. The hosts of Hollywood Weapons partner with the set tour in New York to test the reality of making gunpowder by hand without blowing themselves up.
Next, on Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors, Craig and friends head to Kodiak Island in search of big sitka blacktail deer, but instead, Craig finds himself battling against a momma brown bear and three cubs standing between him and his trophy. Then, the 1959 film The Horse Soldiers, wraps up the week on Friday Night at the Movies. Based on the true story of Colonel Benjamin H. Grierson, a Union Calvary outfit is sent behind confederate lines to destroy a rail line supply center.
