June 9, 2016

Family is Everything on Outdoor Channel with Robertson Shenanigans in “Duck Dynasty” to Weekend Getaways in “Away” to a Father’s Day Bonding Trip in “Gridiron Outdoors”

DENVER (June 9, 2016) – Outdoor Channel invites viewers to join the family with novel and exciting programming airing the week of June 13–19.

Viewers keep “quacking” up with four episodes in a row of Duck Dynasty airing every Monday night. First, when the guys uncover an old table while cleaning out the warehouse, the day turns into a ping-pong tournament. Next, after attending a local radio show as a guest, Willie sees an opportunity to host a show of his own. Then, Willie is gifted with an invaluable samurai sword that he tries to keep out of the hands of Jase and the gang. Lastly, a field trip to a donut shop results in an eating contest between Jase, Si and Jep.

Viewers will settle into Friday Night at the Movies showing the 1957 film – 3:10 To Yuma, where a broke, smalltime rancher, Dan Evans is hired by the stagecoach line to put Ben Wade, a captured renowned outlaw leader, on the 3:10 train to Yuma. Evans runs into trouble when Wade’s gang tries to free him. Then, Away presented by Go RVing airs the third episode in the four-part mini-series in which the Bowmans, a family of outdoor enthusiasts, have discovered that a travel trailer is the perfect RV for weekend getaways from their home in San Diego. The Bowmans set course for their favorite camping spot in the mountains to see what’s biting and then hit the beach for more fishing.

Next, Major League Fishing features the top finishers of the Shell Rotella Challenge Cup as they describe exactly how they found success in Lake County, Florida. Viewers should tune in next week for the 2016 Challenge Cup Championship. Finally, Gridiron Outdoors closes out the week with the second episode in the two-part special. With Father’s Day right around the corner, it’s fitting to see two-time Super Bowl quarterback, Jeff Hostetler, go on an Arizona hunt with his sons.
