August 4, 2016

Searching, Pursuing and Trailing for Cache, Bucks, Longbeards and More – All. Week. Long.

DENVER (August 4, 2016)Outdoor Channel is assuring a lineup of bearded mischief, freezing tundra and dust kickin’, country carry-ons during the week of August 8–14.

The ducks are all lined up for this week’s episodes of Duck Dynasty on Monday night. First, Willie sponsors a contest for Mountain Man’s radio show. Next, Willie’s old friend, now a fire chief, lets the brothers go through a few training drills – which turn out to be far more physically demanding than they thought. Next, the guys try to show Willie they can create a new logo for Buck Commander better than any professional design firm. Lastly, when the gang begins to clean out the duck blinds, they find an infestation of fire ants, causing Jase to take extreme measures to wipe them out. Later in the evening, the Keefer brothers in DROPPED use up the last of their energy making their way downstream in search of their next supply cache. The tide turns as they finally make their way out of the open tundra and into the heart of moose country. Tuesday evening on Drury’s THIRTEEN, Terry and Matt are in Missouri helping Nikki Acker from RAM get her first buck.

Country is what it’s all about Friday nights on the network. First up, Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors holds Craig’s annual invitational turkey hunt in Tennessee and then meets up with John Paul Morris of Bass Pro Shops to procure Missouri longbeards, commonly known as turkeys. Then, Nick heads to Mexico on Nick’s Wild Ride to hunt javelina – in the process, he learns a hard lesson about drinking cheap beer and bad water. Closing out the evening is Friday Night at the Movies airing a 1971 film – Lawman – who arrives in the city of Sabbath to arrest the cattlemen that shot an old man in a wild celebration the year before.
