December 1, 2016

Preparing for an Exciting Visit on “Duck Dynasty”; Pioneering in Montana on  “The Reluctant Outdoorsman”; Cross Bow Hunting on “Viking Chronicles” and Getting Down and Dirty on “Big Country Fridays”

DENVER (December 1, 2016) Outdoor Channel viewers will find plenty of adventure, thrills and some laughs every day of the week throughout December 5–11. The Duckmen must scramble to prepare for the visit of Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal, on Duck Dynasty; The Reluctant Outdoorsman joins Laramy “Sasquatch” Miller on a pioneering adventure; Kyle Lamb tries hunting with a cross bow on Viking Chronicles; Jim Shockey hunts for indigenous Pakistani game; Craig Morgan is all over the country in search of spring longbeards and classic western film, Vera Cruz, closes out the week.

Three episodes of Duck Dynasty start the week on Outdoor Channel. First, baby Mia is about to enter the hospital for surgery on her cleft lip and palate, and Jase sets up a family reunion party at her request. Next, an impending visit by Bobby Jindal, Governor of Louisiana, to present an award to Duck Commander throws everyone into chaos. Finally, when Willie starts thinking about changing the Duck Commander logo, Jase and the guys try to show him they can do the job as well as any professional design firm. Then, on The Reluctant Outdoorsman, Derek Orr heads to Montana for a pioneering adventure guided by Laramy ‘Sasquatch” Miller of Sasquatch Mountain Man. Wednesday, on Viking Chronicles, after a tactical training course at Sig Academy, Kyle Lamb puts down his rifle for something new. Kyle takes to the hills of Tennessee with his cross bow for whitetail season.

Big Country Fridays open with Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures. In this episode, follow alongside Jim Shockey as he heads into the culturally-rich country of Pakistan to go after the Punjab Urial, a type of wild sheep, and the Axis Deer. Next, on Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, from the orange groves in Florida, to pines in South Carolina, and into the cattle pastures of Tennessee, Craig is crazy about chasing spring longbeard gobblers. Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with Vera Cruz. During the Mexican Rebellion of 1866, an unsavory group of American adventurers are hired by the forces of Emperor Maximilian to escort a countess to Vera Cruz.
