DENVER (December 8, 2016) – During the week of December 12–18, Outdoor Channel viewers will be able to dive into some of the most exciting hunting adventures in the world with their favorite outdoorsmen. The Duckmen take an adventure through the woods to find out who has the most wilderness skills on Duck Dynasty; The Reluctant Outdoorsman learns about hunting in the South from Michael Waddell; Kyle Lamb is in Nashville with a country music legend on Viking Chronicles; Jim Shockey takes his family to France for a once-in-a-lifetime hunting and vacation experience; Craig Morgan is golfing for charity and classic western film, Rio Grande, ends the Big Country Friday night.

Starting the week on Outdoor Channel are four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, Phil Robertson and the guys set out to clean all the duck blinds, turning up an assortment of odd wildlife and old garbage along the way. Next, egged on by Si to prove their wilderness skills, the brothers hold a race through the woods. Then, Phil recruits Jase, Jep, Si, and John Luke for his campaign to wipe out the latest beaver infestation on the family land. Finally, after a big order comes in, Willie pushes the Duck Commander team to meet the tight deadline. Then, on The Reluctant Outdoorsman, Derek Orr learns the nuances of southern living from famed hunter, Michael Waddell, of Michael Waddell’s Bone Collector. Wednesday, on Viking Chronicles, Kyle Lamb shows he knows how to hold his own in Music City with country rocker and Nashville staple, Ira Dean.

Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures opens Big Country Fridays with Jim traveling to France with his wife, Louise and daughter, Eva. While in a country steep in hunting traditions, Jim goes after the European Red Stag and a huge wild boar. Next, on Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, Craig works the rust off his golf swing as he helps raise money for his local charity. Friday Night at the Movies closes the night with Rio Grande, a story of a post-Civil War Union officer, Kirby Yorke, as he heads an outpost on the Rio Grande, training new recruits, and one is his son whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years.
