The War on Beavers on “Duck Dynasty”; Bull Moose Hunting on “Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures”; Investigating a Murdered Lion’s Case on “Carter’s W.A.R.” and Joining an Outlaw Band on “Friday Night at the Movies”

DENVER (January 26, 2017) Outdoor Channel viewers will get to experience many different cultures from around the world during the week of January 30–February 5. The Duckmen are fighting a losing battle against beavers on Duck Dynasty; new mom Eva Shockey hunts down a giant bull moose on Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures; Ivan Carter gets down to business on the case of several murdered lions on Carter’s W.A.R. and Man of the West ends the night on Friday Night at the Movies.

Four episodes of Duck Dynasty start the week on Outdoor Channel. First, it’s duck blind maintenance time again and the boys have discovered the waterline is low. At the levee, they realize this is the work of Phil’s bucktoothed arch nemesis – the beaver. Next, Phil recruits Jase, Jep, Si, and John Luke for his campaign to wipe out the latest beaver infestation on the family land. Then, after a big order comes in, Willie pushes the Duck Commander team to meet the tight deadline. Elsewhere, Phil and Si declare war on the beavers whose dams are disrupting the water supply. Finally, Willie reluctantly agrees to speak at a lunch meeting of Miss Kay’s friends at the Golden 60s club.

Friday, on Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures, Jim can’t make it to the Yukon in Canada on time to guide his daughter, Eva, so he enlists his top guides, Wojo and Shane, to lead her to a monster bull moose in his secret spot. Next, on Carter’s W.A.R., investigating a string of murdered lions, Ivan gets to the heart of the conflict, and the outcome will test his own core values about cultural perspective and conservation. Then, Man of the West, the classic western about a reformed outlaw who is forced to rejoin his old outlaw band after being stranded during an aborted train robbery, closes out Friday Night at the Movies.
