February 9, 2017

Preparing for Big Dates on “Duck Dynasty”; Endangered Bird Investigation on  “Wardens presented by Streamlight”; Meeting African Conservationists on “Carter’s W.A.R.”  and Extreme Culture Shock on “Friday Night at the Movies”

DENVER (February 9, 2017) Outdoor Channel viewers will get into the action during the week of February 13–19 as the Duckmen of Duck Dynasty are slow to come to terms with the fact their kids are growing up; the Michigan Conservation Officers investigate a special hunting blind on Wardens presented by Streamlight; Ivan Carter meets several people who are responsible for protecting the African wildlife on Carter’s W.A.R. and Quigley Down Under, a man who goes from Wyoming to Australia, closes out Friday Night at the Movies.

First up on Outdoor Channel are four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, giving questionable advice on style and etiquette, everyone mobilizes to get Justin Martin ready for a date. Next, Sadie, Willie’s daughter, has a homecoming dance coming up but Willie doesn’t approve of her dress selection. In the night’s third episode, though Jase lost his wedding ring long ago, Missy decides it’s time for him to replace it with a new one. Lastly, when Willie finds out that Sadie has a new boyfriend, he wants to get to know him while instilling some fatherly, Robertson-style fear. Up next on Monday night, two Michigan Conservation Officers are having a late night investigation on Wardens presented by Streamlight. They look into a hunting blind on federal property that is also home to a nearly extinct bird.

Friday night, on Carter’s W.A.R., from rhino saviors and lion researchers, to savvy entrepreneurs and armed security teams, Ivan Carter tours the front lines of conservation to meet individuals who are reshaping and protecting wild Africa. Ivan journeys to four separate countries to find out what makes these unsung heroes tick. Then, Quigley Down Under, the western story about sharpshooter, Matt Quigley, is hired from Wyoming by an Australian rancher who pays a very high price for Quigley’s services, ends the week on Friday Night at the Movies.
