DENVER (February 23, 2017) – During the week of February 27–March 5, Outdoor Channel viewers will get down and dirty on some wild adventures. The Strut Commander boys go for a double Grand Slam on Commander Life; the Duckmen of Duck Dynasty have high aspirations for a new duck blind; Michigan Conservation Officers make sure to keep the peace during one of the busiest weekends of the year on Wardens presented by Streamlight; Ivan Carter is on a mission to save orphaned rhinos with some local heroes on Carter’s W.A.R. and Cahill, U.S. Marshall, a classic western starring John Wayne, is the finale of the week.

Commander Life kicks off the week on Outdoor Channel with The Strut Commander boys beginning their quest for a double Grand Slam, which is when a hunter harvests Eastern, Rio Grande, Merriam’s, and Oscelos turkeys in one season. Next up are four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, Ms. Kay and the Robertson women hold a yard sale and sell some of the boys’ most prized possessions. Next, after blowing up one of Phil’s dangerously antiquated duck blinds, the Robertson boys hatch a wild plan to build a luxury duck blind in the sky. Then, Godwin calls in a favor with the guys so he can get a hot tub, but he only has $200 to spend. Finally, egged on by Si to prove their wilderness skills, the brothers hold a race through the woods. Wardens presented by Streamlight closes out Monday night as the Michigan Conservation Officers help patrol Silver Lake State Park during the thrill ride known as Fourth of July weekend.

Friday night, on Carter’s W.A.R., while visiting a secret orphanage that cares for rescued baby rhinos, Ivan discovers the blood, sweat, and tears that go into saving this endangered species. An emergency phone call sends him on an adventure with a group of local heroes to save the next newly orphaned rhino. Then, Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with the western film, Cahill, U.S. Marshall, the story about J.D. Cahill, a tough and driven U. S. Marshal who must track down and help his two sons who get mixed up in a robbery.
