March 16, 2017

Turkey Hunting on “Commander Life”; Rebelling Against Authority on “Duck Dynasty”; Catching Criminals on “Wardens presented by Streamlight”; Saving Giraffes on “Carter’s W.A.R.” and Fighting for Justice on “Friday Night at the Movies”

DENVER (March 16, 2017) Outdoor Channel viewers will jump into several different adventures during the week of March 20–26 as the Strut Commander boys hunt for turkeys in Kansas on Commander Life; the Duckmen on Duck Dynasty decide to take the business into their own hands when Willie gets too confident; the Montana Wardens search for a repeat offender on Wardens presented by Streamlight; Ivan Carter takes on the task of rescuing giraffes and helping impoverished African towns on Carter’s W.A.R. and classic western film, Hang ‘Em High, closes out the week.

Commander Life starts the week on Outdoor Channel with the Strut Commander crew taking a trip to hunt in Southeast Kansas to chase big eastern turkeys. Next up are four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, after Jase breaks into Willie’s office to get supplies, Willie installs a surveillance system in the warehouse that irritates everyone. Next, without Willie’s approval, Jase builds a new office, while Miss Kay decides Willie should buy goats for her at a petting zoo. Then, Willie hires Korie’s cousin as a personal assistant, but Jase, Martin, and Godwin rebel against the idea of having an outsider giving them orders. Finally, when a big business decision must be made affecting Duck Commander, Willie plans an employee retreat. Wardens presented by Streamlight closes out Monday night. In this episode, looking for antlers on Opening Day is like Christmas morning for shed hunters, and a few are willing to break the law for a crack at a monster shed. Montana Wardens are on the lookout for one scofflaw who is no stranger to a run-in with the law.

Friday night on Carter’s W.A.R., Ivan shows viewers that not all poaching is for horns and tusks. In many parts of poverty-stricken Africa, giraffes are killed mercilessly for their meat, so Ivan joins a specialized team in exploring radical solutions to both save the giraffes and provide food to communities in need. Then, Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with Hang ‘Em High. When an innocent man barely survives a lynching, he returns as a lawman determined to bring the vigilantes to justice.
