Friendly Competition on “Duck Dynasty”; Rambo to the Test on “Hollywood Weapons”; Transporting Rhinos on “Carter’s W.A.R.” and Robert Redford stars in “Friday Night at the Movies”

DENVER (April 20, 2017) – During the week of April 24–30,  Outdoor Channel viewers will join along as the Duckmen find themselves embroiled in a friendly competition on Duck Dynasty; the hosts of Hollywood Weapons re-enact stunts from Rambo; Ivan Carter travels through South Africa on Carter’s W.A.R. and the film, Jeremiah Johnson, closes out the week.

Starting the week on Outdoor Channel is four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, it’s all hands-on-deck for the Duckmen when an old high school nemesis challenges them to a good old fashion race at the local lawn mower competition. Then, Sadie receives “Robertson-style” driving lessons from Willie, Jase and Si in preparation for her driving test. Next, in the night’s third episode, Willie and Korie invite Jase and his kids to spend the weekend with them while Jase’s house is being renovated and Missy is out of town. Finally, gearing up for his high school reunion, Willie realizes that he could stand to lose a few pounds. Hollywood Weapons closes out Monday night with two must-see episodes. John Rambo’s (Sylvester Stallone) ability to decimate enemies all by himself has created some of the most incredible weapon stunts in Hollywood history. The hosts of Hollywood Weapons test the reality surrounding these iconic scenes from the blockbuster franchise, Rambo. Then, using the same Beretta 92 handgun as in Die Hard, host Terry Schappert re-enacts the iconic scene where John McClane (Bruce Willis) finds himself dangling from the side of a building and must shoot through the glass window and break away to safety.

Friday night on Carter’s W.A.R., Ivan goes on a journey to save his friend’s 19 rhinos from the poaching epidemic sweeping through South Africa. The solution: a logistical nightmare of transporting the entire herd to a secure location 600 miles across the country. Friday Night at the Movies ends the week with the 1972 film, Jeremiah Johnson, starring Robert Redford, a recluse mountain man who becomes the unwilling object of a long vendetta by Indians.
