Annual Celebration of Outdoor Lifestyle Pursuits Set for September 23
DENVER (September 14, 2017) – Outdoor Sportsman Group’s MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) has joined a growing list of sponsors promoting National Hunting and Fishing Day (NHF). The annual celebration of outdoor lifestyle pursuits – hunting and fishing – will take place on September 23.
National Hunting and Fishing Day brings together sportsmen and women in celebration of America’s long-standing tradition of hunting and fishing. National, regional, state and local organizations will host fishing- and hunting-related events throughout the day in recognition of the role outdoor pursuits have played since the founding of the country.

Congress established National Hunting and Fishing Day to recognize hunters and anglers for their leadership in fish and wildlife conservation. Since launching in 1971, the fourth Saturday in September has been set aside to recognize National Hunting and Fishing Day. This year’s NHF Day (September 23) has NASCAR legend Richard Childress serving as honorary chairman.
