Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox Highlights BOWHUNTING 2015 New Gear GuideJanuary 30, 2015
HARRISBURG, Pa. (Feb. 3) – Gary LeVox, lead singer of country music supergroup Rascal Flatts, appears on the cover of the Petersen’s BOWHUNTING 2015 New Gear Guide, on sale today at newsstands across the country.
The issue also includes an exclusive cover story detailing LeVox’s passion for bowhunting and deer management. LeVox is a member of the Mossy Oak pro staff, and his appearance is tied to Mossy Oak’s recent launch of the all-new Break-Up Country camouflage pattern.
“A lot of people in my position are musicians who became hunters. I was a hunter who just happened to become a musician,” LeVox said. “Music is truly what I do, and hunting and the outdoors is truly who I am.”
LeVox is also participating in a special Country Superstar Sweepstakes in conjunction with the New Gear Guide. The sweepstakes – co-sponsored by Mossy Oak, SCENTLOK and Bowtech Archery – gives readers an opportunity to win prizes that include a customized Epiphone Les Paul electric guitar autographed by LeVox, two Bowtech Prodigy bows and three complete sets of SCENTLOK hunting apparel. All prizes feature Mossy Oak’s new Break-Up Country camouflage.
The Country Superstar Sweepstakes continues through Feb. 28. To enter, go online to www.bowhuntingmag.com/country
The 2015 New Gear Guide also features photos and details about more than 270 all-new bowhunting products in nine categories: Bows; Crossbows, Arrows & Broadheads; Bow Accessories; Treestands & Blinds; Attractants, Calls & Decoys; Field Wear & Packs; Optics & Scouting Gear; and Useful Tools.
