DENVER (September 30, 2019) – Wildlife species are at a tremendous risk while hunters, outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen are facing increasing criticism. New series, Wildlife Heroes, premiering on Outdoor Channel on Monday, September 30 at 9:30 p.m. ET will tell the stories that mainstream won’t.

In the minds of many people, hunting is a sport and nothing more. The goal of this new series is to bring to light the positive impact that hunting has on wildlife species and ecosystems worldwide. Hosted by renowned wildlife conservationist, Ivan Carter, Wildlife Heroes will showcase the positive impact of hunters’ contributions to conservation.

“Humanity is responsible for endangering many species in both the past and the present, and man can destroy anything,” Carter explained. “But, put the right conservationists in line, and give them the tools they need, man can also restore anything,”

Tune into Wildlife Heroes on Mondays at 9:30 pm ET on Outdoor Channel. Check local listings or visit www.OutdoorChannel.com/ChannelFinder to find the network in your area.
