New Episodes Airing April 25 – May 1

DENVER (April 21, 2016) – Sportsman Channel highlights numerous fan-favorite television series airing new episodes the week of April 25 – May 1.

North American Whitetail follows a group of rugged outdoorsmen in their various hunting adventures – G.O. Heath pursues giant black bears in the Canadian backcountry while Pat Hogan discusses ballistic reticles and Dr. Deer talks on supplemental feed and feeders. Next up, Jim Shockey’s The Professionals take on a task only a few have achieved. According to official records, it has been nearly four decades since anyone has successfully hunted the Ssese Island Sitatunga, a swamp-dwelling antelope, and The Professionals take on the challenge.

Then, Saturday rolls out an “Attack of the Bass” Fishing Marathon airing the best in bass fishing episodes from three series – Strike King, In-Fisherman and One More Cast. Don’t miss the three hour-block of rod-bending, action-packed bass fishing and expertise. Next, Just Junie heads to Africa where she meets up with expert guide, Nico, who aids Junie in taking down her first day-time bushpig. Junie returns the favor when Nico and his wife, Leana, visit Texas on a quest for Leana’s first white-tail buck. Nearing the end of the week, Chuck and Jon procure whitetail deer in Texas in The Habit. Then, Pigman: The Series is off on another hog hunt but this time it’s to hunt one of the toughest game on the planet – the wild hogs of Texas.
