A Cameraman Takes a Tumble in “The Professionals” while “The Habit” Reminisces in Season 2 Finale

 New Episodes Airing May 9–15

DENVER (May 5, 2016) – Sportsman Channel offers viewers a plethora of sportsman action during the week of May 9–15, from hunting elk in the water, to Florida fishing, to mountain-top deer hunts.

First up, G.O. Heath in North American Whitetail alleviates some off-season steam on wild hogs in Texas while Pat Hogan and James Kroll wrap up this year’s Build Your Own Deer Factory project and Mike Clerkin provides tips for more accurate crossbow shooting. Next, Jim Shockey’s The Professionals take on the Peruvian Andes – at an altitude of 14,000 feet, this mountain range is the most difficult and dangerous place to hunt for whitetail deer on the planet. Danger comes to fruition for The Professionals when a cameraman falls more than 50 feet off the edge of a cliff. Then, Friday night airs Easton Bowhunting TV where Michele Eichler hunts elk in the water, with the prerogative of proving that women can shoot elk just as easily as men can shoot elk.

Saturday evening offers viewers a Bear Archery Marathon, airing episodes from three hit series – Trained Assassins, Pigman: The Series and Fred Bear: Father of Bowhunting. Don’t miss this overload of bowhunting programming and expertise. Next, Captain George Gozdz explores Florida’s culturally rich and diverse fishing destination, Amelia Island, in Reel Time with Florida Sportsman. Finally, Sunday evening airs the season finale of The Habit where Chuck, Jon, and JP reminisce on their favorite bowfishing trips throughout the past several years.
