DENVER (January 19, 2017) – Sportsman Channel viewers will have the opportunity to learn a lot about the sporting industry during the week of January 23–29. Steven Rinella gives advice on how to break down deer and shares some of his own recipes on MeatEater; Jackie and Jacob Landry discuss the best places to hunt in Iowa on The Jackie Bushman Show Classics; viewers get an exclusive look of what Smith & Wesson (S&W) has in store for 2017 on Guns & Ammo Presented by Brownells and Ryan Gresham gets a lesson on metalworking processes on GunVenture.

Monday Night Hunts Presented by MidwayUSA begins with Steve Rinella of MeatEater giving the “how to” on breaking down a whole whitetail deer into steaks, roasts, shanks and, of course, all the oddities that are often discarded. Along the way, Steven shares cooking tips laced with anecdotes of hunting adventures. Then, on The Jackie Bushman Show Classics, Jacob Landry from Swamp People joins Jackie to talk about hunting in Iowa.

Next up on Lock and Load Thursdays Presented by Remington is Guns & Ammo Presented by Brownells. S&W has always been front and center when it comes to new centerfire semiauto pistol designs, and it has a huge announcement for handgunners in 2017 that viewers will get an exclusive look at during this episode. Finally, on GunVenture, Ryan Gresham gets an up-close look at some of the oldest-known metalworking processes – including the forging and casting of firearms – at a local bladesmith’s workshop.
