After earning their USCG 50 Ton Captains Licenses and graduating from the University of Miami with degrees in both microbiology and immunology, Emily and Amanda, who were also both accomplished track & field athletes, pivoted their focus to a life centered in the great outdoors. Spending summers working aboard a fishing charter in Key West provided them with invaluable skills and sparked the idea for a platform where they could inspire others to explore and connect with nature.
