With a career in outdoor media than has spanned more than a quarter century, Game & Fish Editorial Director John Taranto has pursued countless species of fish, birds, and big game from the Yukon to the Yucatan and in nearly every state in America. He grew up chasing whitetails and turkeys in Central New York and plying the waters of northern Ontario, where his family has owned a summer fishing camp since the early 1970s. He and his wife now make their home in south-central Kansas, where he enjoys sharing his passion for hunting and fishing with his two young sons.
