DENVER (August 4, 2023) – Summer may be winding down, but the fishing is heating up on World Fishing Network. WFN offers the angling adventures, tips from the pros, thrilling tournaments and the latest in boats and gear WFN viewers demand.

In August, stay in-the-know with tournament series Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour (Saturdays, 6 p.m. ET.) for the Heavy Hitters Knock Out Rounds in Tyler, Texas. Stay glued to your device to watch Major League Fishing All Angles (Saturdays, 8 p.m. ET) for the Costa Qualifer.

Three new series join the network, including:

Fuel the Fire (Fridays, 8 p.m. ET): Hunting and fishing adventures based out of Manitoulin Island, the largest freshwater island in the world. Host, Neil Debassige and co-host, Rob Seifried, share their hunting and fishing adventures with family and friends. The show features a number of interesting informational/educational segments with FTFtv’s Learning Curve Tips, The 100 Acre Hunter, Taxidermy Talk, The Wild Game Kitchen, and FTFtv’s Conservation Corner. Fuel your passion, fuel the fire, and get outdoors.

Blue Water Savages (Sundays, 6 p.m. ET): The release of the motion picture Jaws in 1975 instilled an irrational, almost manic fear of sharks in the general public. Sharks and their behavior were still very much a mystery, and they were considered mindless killing machines. Thanks largely to intrepid adventurers and shark biologists, the layers of mystery are being peeled back and sharks are revealing fascinating behavior around humans. They are not mindless killing machines, but top level predators who are actually far more complex than we imagined. Hosted by Former US Navy deep sea diver and Marine Naturalist, Robin D. Berg, and renowned shark expert Eli Martinez, Blue Water Savages explores the surprising behavior of dangerous sharks.

Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die (Tuesdays, 8 p.m. ET): WFN brings the powerful print fishing brand to the screen with Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die, taking viewers to some of the world's premiere fly fishing destinations. Hosted by Conway Bowman, this show visits the locations, meets the anglers featured in the book, and provides insider knowledge of each setting. You'll explore the history of the fishery, its cultural attributes, geography–and come away inspired to gear up and pack your bags for a new adventure.
