GAME & FISH Promotes Warden to Editor

DENVER (October 16, 2025) – Drew Warden has been named Editor of the GAME & FISH brand, America’s premier hunting and fishing media platform. He will report to Editorial Director John Taranto.
With more than a decade of experience in outdoor publishing, including the past seven years as GAME & FISH’s Midwest Regional Editor, Warden will take on many new responsibilities across the brand’s channels as it celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026 and continues to deliver best-in-class hunting and fishing content to its dedicated audience.
“Drew has proven himself to be a meticulous editor and a talented storyteller,” said Taranto. “Those traits, combined with unmatched organizational and communication skills make him the perfect fit to help guide our brand into its second half-century.”

Warden is an avid multi-species hunter and angler who has hunted and fished across much of the U.S. In his free time, he especially loves chasing ducks in the marsh, pheasants on the plains and panfish and trout on various lakes and rivers in his native Missouri.
