He served as director of the Penn State Fly Fishing Program, which now bears his name, leaving a legacy that continues to influence the sport at every level. Humphreys remains the only individual in history to be inducted into both the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, telling of his contributions to two of his life’s greatest passions.
