DENVER (March 24, 2022) – Bill Dance is bringing his educational format to saltwater fishers with Bill Dance Saltwater on Sportsman Channel on Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. ET. In each episode, viewers will find Bill partnered with a noted saltwater expert specializing in the week's target catch. Gain an understanding of techniques, seasons, baits and locations for saltwater adventures. Learn all about the species, why it's there, when it's there and how to get it into the boat.

Bill Dance is an outdoors legend. For more than 36 years, he has delivered fishing advice on television in his humorous, off-beat way. Dance has been an avid fisherman since his youth in Lynchburg, Tennessee. He always dreamed of working in the fishing industry and in his 20s began to fish competitively. His fishing ability was so great that he won more than a third of his first 15 events, and finished in the top 5 in the others. He used this success as a springboard to a career in television. Success didn’t come easy, after a tour of TV stations in the South, Dance came back discouraged. But he didn’t give up. Finally, a local ABC-TV affiliate told him that if he found a sponsor, they would give the show a shot. He did and the rest is fairly well-known.
