DENVER (March 24, 2016) – Sportsman Channel kicks off the first week of the second quarter with all new episodes of cutting-edge, outdoor series that epitomize the #IamSportsman lifestyle. First, Season 1 of Jim Shockey’s The Professionals has found a new home with Sportsman Channel from sister network, Outdoor Channel. Viewers will witness firsthand what it takes to hunt in the world’s most dangerous destinations. Next, Fred Eichler in Easton Bowhunting educates viewers on bowhunting while keeping the humor and fun alive. Then, In-Fisherman TV brings viewers along in a quest for some of the best, rod-bending, fishing action across North America.

Join the adventure the week of March 28 – April 3:

Jim Shockey’s The Professionals (Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. ET): In the first episode of Season 1, Jim Shockey is setting out on one of his most dangerous hunts ever. Unlike most hunts, the danger is not only from the animal or even the terrain, the danger comes from the location – the unpredictable, Middle East. Jim is heading to Pakistan to hunt Sindh Ibex, a species of wild goat native to southern Pakistan.

Easton Bowhunting (Fridays at 10 p.m. ET): Fred Eichler, host of the refreshing and educational bowhunting series, is strapped up with a recurve bow, an apparatus that’s limbs curve away from the archer when unstrung causing it to store and deliver energy more efficiently than a straight bow. With his recurve in hand, Eichler sets off to hunt Merriam’s wild turkey in this episode. To learn more about the series, click here: Easton Bowhunting

In-Fisherman TV (Sundays at 9:30 a.m. ET): This series, hosted and lead by Hall of Fame Angler, Doug Stange and co-hosted by his staff members, journeys around the continent searching for a great bite. In this episode, the team takes the mystery out of finding early season fishing patterns as they explain how to use blades and other equipment to fish largemouth bass. The anglers highlight when and where walleye fish push shallow due to windy weather while also revealing the key food to use in baiting smallmouth bass.
