Finessing Fish, Fierce Competition and First-Time Fishers

All New Episodes Airing Week of May 23–29

DENVER (May 19, 2016) World Fishing Network is putting three popular fishing series out for bait during the week of May 23–29.

First, Timmy Horton Outdoors takes viewers with him to Upper Bear Creek Reservoir in Russellville, Alabama to educate the audience on how to search for fish in staging areas – a region where bass usually stop, hold and typically feed, during their annual change in location to spawning grounds. Timmy utilizes the drop shot rig off sloping points, a finesse technique using 4-inch skinny plastic worms.

Next, viewers will witness the final elimination round in the Challenge Cup on Major League Fishing All-Angles in Lake County, Florida. Jeff Kriet and Denny Brauer are featured in an epic battle to move forward in the competition. Then, Bass 2 Billfish airs the first episode in a two-part special in which show host, Peter Miller takes first-time anglers, Stephanie and Maggie from Los Angeles, on a fishing adventure out of Captiva Island, Florida, for snook, redfish, sharks, goliath grouper and sawfish.
