New Episodes Air April 11-17 and a John Wayne Classic Airs on April 15

DENVER (April 8, 2016) – Outdoor Channel viewers are reveling in continued Monday night programming of four back-to-back episodes of Duck Dynasty (April 11), the most-watched unscripted series in cable history. Next, the 1970 film, Chisum, starring John Wayne and highlighting the Lincoln Land War, airs on Friday, April 15 at 9 p.m. ET while continuing Outdoor Channel’s “Friday Night at the Movies” programming. Then, Alaska’s Wild Gourmet soars to new heights while preparing another delicious meal from his mobile kitchen for a get-together of hunters at the top of an Alaska mountaintop.

Highlights for April 11–17:

Duck Dynasty (Mondays at 7 p.m. ET/PT): Duck Dynasty continues to multiply on the network with four consecutive episodes airing every Monday night. In the first episode of the evening, NASCAR veteran, Clint Bowyer pays a visit to the Duck Commander warehouse. Naturally, the guys take advantage of hanging out with a professional racecar driver all day. Next, the guys carry on their tradition of camping on the Roberston land the night before opening day of duck season. Then, in preparation for his upcoming high school reunion, Willie attempts to lose a few pounds. In the final episode of the night, the Duckmen decide to take John Luke, Willie’s son, on a hunting trip to help him get over his first break up. Plus, don’t miss all new episodes of Duck Dynasty Wednesdays on A&E. Preview the four ducks in a row here: Promo

Chisum – Friday Night Film (Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT): Set in Lincoln, New Mexico in the 1870s, John Chisum, a kind-hearted, ranch-owner and one of the founders of the town, becomes increasingly worried when an underhanded land developer, Lawrence Murphy, moves in on the local land, stores and bank by questionable means. Chisum teams up with Pat Garrett and William Bonney, also known as “Billy the Kid,” to try and use the law against Murphy – but he owns that too. The Lincoln Land War comes to a head when Murphy sets his sights on buying Chisum’s ranch.

Alaska’s Wild Gourmet (Saturdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT): Bradley Ewing, head-chef in a triad family-run catering business, taps into the Kodiak, Alaska wilderness for fresh ingredients in the newest episode of this original series. The foraged materials will be incorporated into a rustic, gourmet meal catering a hunter’s gathering at the top of Alaska’s Pillar. Get a nibble of the show here: Promo
