North American Whitetail Presented by Arctic Cat Celebrates 100th Episode on Sportsman Channel – August 24

NAW TV’s Centennial Salute Looks Back at Memorable Hunts

New Berlin, WI – (August 24, 2011) North American Whitetail has hit the century mark! Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is honored to air the 100th episode of North America Whitetail presented by Arctic Cat on Wednesday, August 24 at 9 p.m. EST. The cast of North American Whitetail will celebrate their centennial show by looking back at some of their most unforgettable and all-time favorite hunts and special segments from episodes past.

North American Whitetail presented by Arctic Cat is an iconic brand print magazine and TV show that is produced by InterMedia Outdoors (IMO).  IMO is the largest media company in the outdoor-enthusiast category.

The entire staff at InterMedia Outdoors congratulates North American Whitetail for this great accomplishment. This truly sets the standard for “best-in-class” outdoor TV and I look forward to working with Gordon, Stan and the rest of the crew for another 100 episodes,” said Jeff Paro, InterMedia Outdoors CEO.

“As the old saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun,” said Stan Potts, co-host of North American Whitetail. “We have a wonderful time hunting and producing this show and I think our energy and expertise show through on the TV screen. To have the opportunity to work with Gordon Whittington and Dr. James Kroll (“Dr. Deer”) is truly humbling and I feel fortunate to have Sportsman Channel as our platform.”

This classic collection of North America Whitetail episodes leads viewers on some of the most heart-pounding trophy adventures from the farm lands of the Midwest, to the big woods of Canada and arid ranchland of Mexico. The team from NAW will use bow and gun in a variety of tactics and score big on free-ranging bucks.

“When we began videotaping our hunts in 2003, we really didn’t know what the public response to out TV show would be,” said Gordon Whittington, co-host. “The show has obviously been a huge success, both with the deer enthusiasts and the hunting industry. We’re proud to be sharing this special 100th episode with viewers on Sportsman Channel.

Whittington added, “Everyone involved in the production of North American Whitetail presented by Arctic Cat is focused on making it informative, inspirational and entertaining. As we reach this milestone in our history and look back at some of our favorite moments from over the years, it reminds us how much fun it really has been.”

Great fair-chase hunting for trophy bucks is the theme of North American Whitetail presented by Arctic Cat. Co-hosts Stan Potts and Gordon Whittington, along with Dr. James Kroll (“Dr. Deer”), Duncan Dobie, Kandi Kisky and Don Kisky, share the thrill of hunting big deer on their terms. Also in each episode are the “Muzzy Moment,” “Dr. Deer’s Whitetail World” and “Big Buck Profile.”
