Bush Pigs Part 2, Leupold’s Pigman: The Series Continues in Africa

DENVER (March 4, 2016) – Last week on Leupold’s Pigman: The Series, Brian “Pigman” Quaca was in Africa going after the elusive African bush pig. He stuck one in the daylight, something unheard of in Africa, but he has days to burn, so what else is there to do but continue hunting for warthogs and more. Tune in for Leupold’s Pigman: The Series exclusively on Sportsman Channel on Sunday, March 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

“Photo safari is over, it is time to put some porkchops in the back of the truck,” said Quaca. Nico, Quaca’s professional hunter, helps to put the sneak on a group of warthogs in the bush, but Quaca continues to have troubles dialing in with his bow set up. And wouldn’t it just be Pigman’s luck that a severe cold front blows into Africa? “Warthogs are thin-skinned creatures full of fleas,” stated Quaca. “When it gets cold, they stay in the ground. Hunt over.” Tune in to see if Pigman can salvage this African safari.

Season 7 finds Quaca back with a renewed sense of self and a new motto tattooed on his arm: Vsetko Umiera, which is Slovic for: “everything dies.” Season 6 of Leupold’s Pigman: The Series was a year of recovery and reflection for the host after a horrific highway accident in December, 2014 that left him recuperating more than hunting.

Outdoor Channel Airs Never Before Seen Season of Drag Racing Favorite “Pinks: All Out” Every Monday In March at 8:30 p.m. ET

Programming Underscores Network’s Strategy to Broaden Its Audience Base

DENVER (March 3, 2016) – Beginning the week of March 7, Outdoor Channel is welcoming back another franchise favorite: Pinks: All Out, the grassroots drag racing competition that previously aired on SPEED. The series hosts hundreds of the best “weekend speedsters” racing their own cars at drag strips across the country to compete for the chance to win a hefty cash prize. The month-long special will feature never before seen, race-filled episodes airing on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET for four consecutive weeks, with the finale airing on March 28.

Adding Pinks: All Out to their Monday night lineup is another example of how
Outdoor Channel continues efforts to expand its audience and display more diverse outdoor lifestyle activities. The network also recently acquired the cable syndication rights to air the first six seasons of the hit series Duck Dynasty and began airing back-to-back episodes of the first season on Monday nights.

“We are excited to be drawing an even wider audience to Outdoor Channel by adding successful franchise programs like Duck Dynasty and now, Pinks: All Out to the network’s roster,” said Jim Liberatore, CEO & President, Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks. “Our goal is to make Outdoor Channel more accessible to broader audiences creating an opportunity to expose them to even more compelling outdoor lifestyle content. We are using Monday nights to showcase the depth of our programming range.”

Pinks: All Out reintroduces viewers to the vintage style, street racing scene made famous during the 1950s and 60s, complete with “armdrop” style starts for the races. Competitors featured on the show are not professional racers; rather, they are car aficionados determined to see if they can turn their own vehicles into speed kings. With new episodes airing throughout March, new audiences, as well as those already familiar with the series will have a chance to view never before seen episodes that turn real-life competitive drama into explosive drag racing action made safe and legal.
