DENVER (September 21, 2016) – Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network’s fall roll-out has the cure for buck fever, those missing the smell of gunpowder and viewers looking to taste the salty sea air with 627 new episodes and five new series across the networks, beginning on Monday, September 26.

In television, fall represents ‘new and fresh’ and that’s exactly what Outdoor Channel delivers in the fourth quarter (Q4). Monday and Friday nights are the place to be on the network with a double dose of Duck Dynasty, followed by new episodes of Alaska’s Ultimate Bush Pilots and Back Country Rescue leading the week, and the return of “Country Fridays” closing the week.

  • Duck Dynasty (Mondays at 7 p.m. ET/PT): The Robertson crew returns to Outdoor Channel, the exclusive syndicated home of the hit A&E series. Tune in on Mondays to catch a mix of episodes from the first six seasons of the popular unscripted show, featuring patriarch Phil, business-savvy Willie, Willie’s wife Korie, his brothers Jase and Jep, Vietnam vet Uncle Si, and the rest of the Duck Commander crew.
  • Alaska’s Ultimate Bush Pilots presented by Arby’s (Starting Monday, September 26 at 9 and 9:30 p.m. ET): Back with an all new cast and location, Alaska’s Ultimate Bush Pilots is a half-hour reality show, spotlighting Tanalian Aviation, a helicopter company based in Anchorage, Alaska.   • Viking Chronicles (Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET): Catch the new outdoor adventure series that documents the feats of the witty and worldly Kyle Lamb as he traverses North America and the globe on a quest for adventure and unique game opportunities. DENVER (September 15, 2016) – As the third quarter comes to a close, viewers of Outdoor Channel during the week of September 19–25, will recollect the good times with Jim Shockey, quack up with the Robertsons, try to escape the arctic with the Keefers and kick the dust up with two country-themed shows and a movie.

Monday evening begins with Jim Shockey’s UNCHARTED featuring the best and worst moments from Season 3. Next, keep on “quacking” with four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, a disgruntled Uncle Si quits his job at the Duck Commander. Then, Willie installs a surveillance system in the warehouse after Jase breaks into his office for supplies. Next, as luck would have it, when a heatwave rolls into West Monroe, Louisiana, the A/C unit in the Duck Commander warehouse simultaneously breaks down – turning the assembly room into a sweltering sweatshop. Lastly, when the guys uncover an old table while cleaning out the warehouse, the day turns into a ping-pong tournament. Later, the Keefer brothers – in DROPPED – fight their way down-stream through freezing water and strong headwinds in hope of reaching their extraction site before the arctic storm rolls in.

Country Friday Nights start out with Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors procuring a full velvet Kentucky buck. Afterward, Craig works the rust off his golf swing as he helps raise money for his local charity. Next, Nick’s Wild Ride learns southern tradition while in Land Between the Lakes, Tennessee by hunting raccoons with hounds in the backwoods and learning to make moonshine. Closing out the evening is Friday Night at the Movies airing the 2000 film – All the Pretty Horses – where two Texas cowboys head to Mexico in search of work but soon find themselves in trouble with the law after one of them falls in love with a wealthy rancher’s daughter.

It’s Bownanza Time – A Bowhunting Extravaganza All Week Long

DENVER (September 8, 2016) – The bows are coming out on Sportsman Channel for Bownanza – a week- long bowhunting extravaganza. Throughout September 13–16 from 8–11 p.m. ET, multiple shows across the network will feature bowhunting content. Then, a marathon of Full Draw Adventures on Saturday, September 17, from 5–8 p.m. ET will be the finale of the bownanza extravaganza week.

Epic Russian Adventure in “UNCHARTED”; All Ducks on Deck in “Duck Dynasty”; Racing to Nowhere in “DROPPED” and Saddling Up for Country Friday Nights

 DENVER (September 8, 2016) – Viewers of Outdoor Channel during the week of September 12–18 will experience a Russian typhoon beside Jim Shockey, cheer on the bearded gang in a friendly competition, get lost in the Alaskan tundra with the Keefers and keep it country on Friday night.

Monday evening begins with Jim Shockey’s UNCHARTED as the episode follows Jim and his cameraman, Matt Ziniel, in the final chapter of their mountain adventure in Russia. As they hunt for sheep in the midst of a typhoon, Jim realizes this is the longest and most epic hunt he has ever attempted. Next, count ‘em 1-2-3-4 with four consecutive episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, when a big business decision is at stake for Duck Commander, Willie plans an employee, team-building retreat. Then, Willie’s past comes back to taunt him when his arch-nemesis from high school challenges him to a riding lawnmower race. Willie calls in the guys to help him prepare, practice and outfit his mower for the good old-fashion race. Next, Willie, Si and Jase give Sadie driving lessons to help her prepare for her upcoming driving test. Lastly, Willie and Korie decide to buy their son his own car after he leaves the pickup in the driveway with an empty gas tank. Later, with an arctic storm nipping at their heals, the Keefer brothers – in DROPPED – race down the river to reach their next supply-yielding cache – only to find themselves lost.

Country Friday Nights starts out with Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors in New Mexico during the rut, a time period when elk are more active and less cautious. Craig finds himself in the middle of the elk rut but has to cut out early to support his local charity back in Tennessee. Next, Nick’s Wild Ride heads to South America in search of what makes Montevideo, Uruguay so special. Closing out the evening is Friday Night at the Movies airing the 1959 film – Warlock – where the town is plagued by a gang of thugs, causing the townspeople to hire Clay Blaisdell, a notorious gunman to act as marshal.

Then, Duff in Major League Bowhunter starts another year pursuing monster bucks in central Kansas. Since Duff hasn’t harvested a buck in four years, his confidence is low – but as the light fades, he spots a buck closing the distance.

Thursday Trailblazers features Mark Peterson in Cabela’s Instinct finally making it to Maral Stag camp in Mongolia after a series of travel difficulties. Then, Steven Rinella in MeatEater heads to Chef Eduardo Garcia’s home in Montana for a day of cooking wild game.

As deer season is winding down in The Lindsey Way, David’s daughter tries to fill her tag on a mature whitetail before time runs out. The Lindsey boys decide to give the girls a muzzleloader and a camera to see what they can do – it turns into an unforgettable evening for everyone.

Outdoor Channel Weekly Programming Highlights

Deteriorating Sustenance in “UNCHARTED”; Instilling Fatherly Fear in “Duck Dynasty”; Sleeping with One Eye Open in “DROPPED” and Country Carry-ons Friday Night

DENVER (September 1, 2016) Outdoor Channel viewers will push through the hunger alongside Jim Shockey, revel in day-to-day Robertson shenanigans, stay alert with the Keefers and keep in touch with backcountry roots during the week of September 5–11.

Monday evening begins with Jim Shockey’s UNCHARTED featuring Jim and his cameraman, Matt Ziniel, on their epic mountain adventure in Russia – amidst dwindling food supplies. Then, four ducks are better than one with four consecutive episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, while duck hunting, the guys stumble across a beehive dripping with wild honey, which they consider to be nature’s most prized succulent treasure. Then, when Willie finds out his daughter, Sadie has a new boyfriend, he decides to get to know the kid, while instilling some fatherly fear. Next, Willie and Jase revive their childhood rivalry as they go head-to-head in a fishing competition to prove who’s in charge once and for all. Lastly, the Robertson boys come up with a wild plan to build a luxurious duck blind in the sky. Later in the evening, the harsh reality of winter sets in for the Keefer brothers in DROPPED as they sleep with one eye open while a grizzly bear patrols the area around their campsite.

Country Friday Nights starts out with Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors as Craig and Tyler continue their trek through the mountains of New Zealand with plenty to chase. Next, Nick’s Wild Ride and his dog, Waylon, head out on a pheasant hunt with Pheasants Forever, an organization dedicated to wildlife habitat conservation in Minnesota – close to where Nick grew up. Wrapping up the evening is Friday Night at the Movies airing the 1959 film – Day of the Outlaw. Blaise Starrett is a rancher at odds with homesteaders when his dispute takes a back seat to a new threat of outlaws taking over the small town.
