Outdoor Channel Weekly Programming Highlights

Spring Cleaning on “Duck Dynasty”; Bear Hunting on “Wardens presented  by Streamlight”; The Anti-Poaching Team on “Carter’s W.A.R.” and The Vengeance of a Ranch Family on “Friday Night at the Movies”

DENVER (February 2, 2017) – During the week of February 6–12, Outdoor Channel viewers will join along as the Duckmen reluctantly realize it is the time of year when they must clean all of their duck blinds on Duck Dynasty; the Michigan Conservation Officers kick off bear hunting season on Wardens presented by Streamlight; Ivan Carter joins an anti-poaching team in Mozambique on Carter’s W.A.R. and The Sons of Katie Elder begin a quest to find out who killed their father on Friday Night at the Movies.

Duck Dynasty starts off the week on Outdoor Channel with four episodes. First, while out duck hunting, Willie, Jase and Uncle Si stumble across what folks consider nature’s most prized succulent treasure – a beehive dripping with wild honey. Next, Phil and the guys set out to clean all the duck blinds, turning up an assortment of odd wildlife and old garbage along the way. In the night’s third episode, with Willie out of town, the guys decide to abandon work and head to the duck blinds on the Robertson land. Finally, Willie volunteers to join the guys for their latest all-night packing session but ends up helping Jase track down faulty smoke detectors and falling victim to a prank. Up next on Monday night is Wardens presented by Streamlight. In this episode, Michigan Conservation Officers investigate a bear killed during the season’s opening weekend. Suspicious events occur, and this new cast finds out why every successful bear hunter turns in a tooth from his kill.

Friday night, on Carter’s W.A.R., Ivan joins an anti-poaching team in Mozambique to bring down a specific group of poachers who have been killing local elephants for their ivory. Then, The Sons of Katie Elder, the classic western about ranch owner Katie Elder’s four sons who are determined to avenge the murder of their father and the swindling of their mother, closes out Friday Night at the Movies.
