Bachman heads back to the Powder River region of Montana during the week of Thanksgiving, when bucks are “rutted up” and more willing to charge into the sound of rattling antlers. “There’s so much interaction with these deer when rattling them in on the river bottoms; if you are up high looking down during the evenings, you’ll see 100 plus deer,” Bachman shared. “Bringing them in with rattling and grunting is so much fun. I just love it.”
