DENVER (February 9, 2017) – During the week of February 13–19 on World Fishing Network, viewers will have access to a week of programming including: Timmy Horton Outdoors, where Timmy Horton experiences a day of fishing in Texas; Scott challenges an angling professional on The Scott Martin Challenge; Kim Stricker follows schools of fish to try and get the most out of his day on the lake on Hook N’ Look and Jenna McKeown chases down some Atlantic salmon on The New Fly Fisher.

Kicking off the week on Bass Mondays is Timmy Horton Outdoors. While fishing on Lake Falcon, Timmy tries to crank up some giant Texas largemouths. Then, on The Scott Martin Challenge, Scott is on the water with a new and exciting challenge against one of the nation’s top professional anglers.

On Wednesday night, Secrets of the Pros kicks off with Hook N’ Look. An early autumn phenomenon takes place across Northern Michigan lakes as schools of baitfish ascend from depths to feed on plankton, and Kim Stricker follows them on this fishing excursion. Then, on The New Fly Fisher, Jenna McKeown travels to Newfoundland to cast for Atlantic salmon on the Humber River

Outdoor Channel Weekly Programming Highlights

Preparing for Big Dates on “Duck Dynasty”; Endangered Bird Investigation on  “Wardens presented by Streamlight”; Meeting African Conservationists on “Carter’s W.A.R.”  and Extreme Culture Shock on “Friday Night at the Movies”

 DENVER (February 9, 2017) Outdoor Channel viewers will get into the action during the week of February 13–19 as the Duckmen of Duck Dynasty are slow to come to terms with the fact their kids are growing up; the Michigan Conservation Officers investigate a special hunting blind on Wardens presented by Streamlight; Ivan Carter meets several people who are responsible for protecting the African wildlife on Carter’s W.A.R. and Quigley Down Under, a man who goes from Wyoming to Australia, closes out Friday Night at the Movies.

First up on Outdoor Channel are four episodes of Duck Dynasty. First, giving questionable advice on style and etiquette, everyone mobilizes to get Justin Martin ready for a date. Next, Sadie, Willie’s daughter, has a homecoming dance coming up but Willie doesn’t approve of her dress selection. In the night’s third episode, though Jase lost his wedding ring long ago, Missy decides it’s time for him to replace it with a new one. Lastly, when Willie finds out that Sadie has a new boyfriend, he wants to get to know him while instilling some fatherly, Robertson-style fear. Up next on Monday night, two Michigan Conservation Officers are having a late night investigation on Wardens presented by Streamlight. They look into a hunting blind on federal property that is also home to a nearly extinct bird.

Friday night, on Carter’s W.A.R., from rhino saviors and lion researchers, to savvy entrepreneurs and armed security teams, Ivan Carter tours the front lines of conservation to meet individuals who are reshaping and protecting wild Africa. Ivan journeys to four separate countries to find out what makes these unsung heroes tick. Then, Quigley Down Under, the western story about sharpshooter, Matt Quigley, is hired from Wyoming by an Australian rancher who pays a very high price for Quigley’s services, ends the week on Friday Night at the Movies.

On Wednesday night, Secrets of the Pros kicks off with Hook N’ Look. Monday Night Hunts presented by MidwayUSA begins with Steven Rinella, Helen Cho and Britany Brothers of MeatEater hunting whitetail deer in Wisconsin on the famed Duren farm in the continuation of a two-part episode. This time, Helen and Brittany both get their chance at some bucks and the crew makes “hobo dinners” over the campfire to end the night. Then, on The Jackie Bushman Show Classics, Chase Landry from Swamp People joins Jackie to hunt in Montana and Alabama, and they announce another lucky sweepstakes winner to rifle hunt the late season rut in Alabama.

Next, on Lock and Load Thursdays presented by Remington, is Guns & Ammo presented by Brownells. In this episode, Craig Boddington evaluates SIG’s new P220 hunter and describes why he loves to hunt deer with a 10mm pistol. Finally, on GunVenture, Ryan and Tom Gresham head to Savannah, Georgia, for a hog hunt on Green Island with PolyCase ammunition.  DENVER (February 2, 2017) – During the week of February 6–12, Outdoor Channel viewers will join along as the Duckmen reluctantly realize it is the time of year when they must clean all of their duck blinds on Duck Dynasty; the Michigan Conservation Officers kick off bear hunting season on Wardens presented by Streamlight; Ivan Carter joins an anti-poaching team in Mozambique on Carter’s W.A.R. and The Sons of Katie Elder begin a quest to find out who killed their father on Friday Night at the Movies.

Duck Dynasty starts off the week on Outdoor Channel with four episodes. First, while out duck hunting, Willie, Jase and Uncle Si stumble across what folks consider nature’s most prized succulent treasure – a beehive dripping with wild honey. Next, Phil and the guys set out to clean all the duck blinds, turning up an assortment of odd wildlife and old garbage along the way. In the night’s third episode, with Willie out of town, the guys decide to abandon work and head to the duck blinds on the Robertson land. Finally, Willie volunteers to join the guys for their latest all-night packing session but ends up helping Jase track down faulty smoke detectors and falling victim to a prank. Up next on Monday night is Wardens presented by Streamlight. In this episode, Michigan Conservation Officers investigate a bear killed during the season’s opening weekend. Suspicious events occur, and this new cast finds out why every successful bear hunter turns in a tooth from his kill.

Friday night, on Carter’s W.A.R., Ivan joins an anti-poaching team in Mozambique to bring down a specific group of poachers who have been killing local elephants for their ivory. Then, The Sons of Katie Elder, the classic western about ranch owner Katie Elder’s four sons who are determined to avenge the murder of their father and the swindling of their mother, closes out Friday Night at the Movies.

DENVER (January 26, 2017) Outdoor Channel viewers will get to experience many different cultures from around the world during the week of January 30–February 5. The Duckmen are fighting a losing battle against beavers on Duck Dynasty; new mom Eva Shockey hunts down a giant bull moose on Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures; Ivan Carter gets down to business on the case of several murdered lions on Carter’s W.A.R. and Man of the West ends the night on Friday Night at the Movies.

Four episodes of Duck Dynasty start the week on Outdoor Channel. First, it’s duck blind maintenance time again and the boys have discovered the waterline is low. At the levee, they realize this is the work of Phil’s bucktoothed arch nemesis – the beaver. Next, Phil recruits Jase, Jep, Si, and John Luke for his campaign to wipe out the latest beaver infestation on the family land. Then, after a big order comes in, Willie pushes the Duck Commander team to meet the tight deadline. Elsewhere, Phil and Si declare war on the beavers whose dams are disrupting the water supply. Finally, Willie reluctantly agrees to speak at a lunch meeting of Miss Kay’s friends at the Golden 60s club.

Friday, on Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures, Jim can’t make it to the Yukon in Canada on time to guide his daughter, Eva, so he enlists his top guides, Wojo and Shane, to lead her to a monster bull moose in his secret spot. Next, on Carter’s W.A.R., investigating a string of murdered lions, Ivan gets to the heart of the conflict, and the outcome will test his own core values about cultural perspective and conservation. Then, Man of the West, the classic western about a reformed outlaw who is forced to rejoin his old outlaw band after being stranded during an aborted train robbery, closes out Friday Night at the Movies.
